1·5 days agoThey already know it isn’t going anywhere (mostly due to their own fault). So they don’t want to be a part of it, since there’s no opportunity to boast later on.

2·6 days agoStill reading “Neptune’s Brood” by Charles Stross, didn’t get to read a lot during the easter weekend. I’m about half way through, and will probably finish it somewhere in the coming week. After that I’ll have several picks to choose from for the next read, I might return to the Dresden files or to Dungeon Crawler Carl, or I could go search for some writer I haven’t read yet.

45·10 days agoActually, there’s lots of FOSS software which is at least just as good as proprietary. Most FOSS lacks the support of proprietary though. And I don’t mean the “call someone on the other end of the world” support, I mean manuals, tutorials and stuff like that. /Off topic
On topic: Apache, Git, Home Assistant and Jellyfin.
Yes. I mostly support whatever charity that comes door to door, except some big ones who won’t take money but try to reel you into a monthly plan. I also support some Ukrainian artists on Patreon. And I support organizations like doctors without borders if they’re in the news, especially when the right wingers start spewing their “what about me” rhetoric.
Govt subsidies? Really?
