I just uninstalled RIF, I was keeping it just because. I tried to open it and nothing loaded, anyway, it has been lemmy only for me since july.

I’m not sure it works like that but it makes sense that way.

I feel the same, it is not a good name, I guess that copying these Reddit names makes it easier to identify the content. But yeah… could be better.

I think it is something along those lines, the early adopters are quite fed up with Reddit and have the knowledge to explore new options. The fediverse is still strange and not so easy to understand for the casual user.
