If I got this right you took something I didn’t say as your foundational point to argue against, said that I should say what you want me to say instead to be truthful, and that advocating for intolerance against the intolerant is dumb because you’ve defined it to either include or require political violence.

And to be clear; supporting assassinations & enjoying the poetic justice of someone who advocated for gun violence and that some people should be killed for who they were born as and not their choices getting killed by a gun are not the same thing.

Nobody is immune to all bias all of the time, you just have to know what the right bias is to push in your marketing. It’s what makes advertising propaganda so insidious, it’s like the flu everyone is susceptible.

A full Saga of Swamp Thing movie series would be wonderful. There’s no way Alan Moore signs off on any more movie adaptations though.

Dear Esther and Kentucky route zero for the music and atmosphere, elden ring for the atmosphere and challenge. Something with an engaging story planescape torment & torment tides of numenera.

I suspect there was also a demographic and normative shift when a bunch of people left when they dropped 3rd party apps and sided with advertisers over moderators. I think the average age dropped along with the shift and the next September after 3rd party apps were dropped in the summer.

There were similar changes after the large increase in users from the digg migration; subreddits split, norms around what gets votes and moderated changed for a broader audience on the larger subreddits, more general topic and current pop events instead of more science and tech, more memes and videos instead of article and plain text, etc.

I did the same replaced a Roku device with a shield when Roku started doing startup ads. Seems to work fine then won’t respond to remote and needs a reboot, some weird stuff with the VPN too. Should have probably just got a mini form PC instead.

Return to monkey island was pretty fun if you enjoy the originals or telltale versions. The movement and gunplay in d2 was a lot of fun, too bad they screwed up so bad with the expansions and monetization.

It’s still pretty early but if I had to pick one Harry Kim, just seems like he’s trying to help people around him like Torres and Paris, a little gossiping with Tuvok about the fighting.
