Freaking brilliant. All 3 episodes binged like a crackhead. Andor is so good, it can easily appeal to a broader audience than other Star Wars films and shows.

I use KDE for technical reasons, but I pretty much prefer Gnome’s settings and generally their whole UI design.

Speaking of the image, I prefer KDE’s settings. Apple’s is too dumbed down and slower to navigate.

Some cracks have viruses, Trojans, Rootkits and the like. Playing them on Linux via Wine can completely nullify most security and privacy issues caused by these threats.

It’s the most predatory game I’ve seen so far. It has lootboxes, MTX, and all types of dark patterns.

Yeah, it’s pretty much the best FOSS UX/UI for basic graphic work. If it grows anywhere near GIMP in capabilities, it will win over their userbase in no time. The interface is well thought out.

I couldn’t find the source nor the license. But if it’s not FOSS I wouldn’t even consider it.

It’s standards based and interoperable. I’m using Thunderbird on desktop and JTX board + DavX on Android. I like the freedom to chose what I want to use.

I have two PCs one with a 3080 TI one with a 7900 XTX, both running Bazzite. The difference is huge.

There’s a really long road ahead. The work put together by the Bazzite team truly shines in a regular desktop setup when you factor in things like internationalization, Nvidia support, added gaming hardware support, Homebrew package manager, virtualization, Android apps, Sunshine / Moonlight streaming, and more.

I don’t know. I haven’t faced a similar situation.

But considering the law doesn’t mean anything to this increasingly totalitarian regime, if my kids’ lives were at risk, I would analyze this scenario:

Moving to the closest country that speaks my language, has school grade equivalencies, and a similar culture so that the whole ordeal is less traumatic for my family.

I would rent my house and try to store the properties that we wouldn’t want to take with us in a safe place, and sell the ones my family won’t need.

I would seek remote work opportunities in my country so that returning home (when safe) results in an easy enough transition.

This reality won’t change for the better until those in power get replaced by candidates that value democracy, the law and human rights and put in place safeguards so that this can’t happen again.
