I don’t have a lot of experience with really nice guitars, but I really enjoy the two cheap ones I currently own!

I decided to watch the Kelvin movies over the last few weeks. I’ve never been a big fan of them but they’re all right for some quick entertainment.

It amuses me as well, especially since I sometimes enjoy the sound of the “low end” products more than the “high end” products. I’m sure I would enjoy having high end guitars and gear as much as most anyone else here, but the obsession with that type of thing is a little ridiculous. And there is definitely no excuse for the bashing of people that don’t buy the pedals or amps that are currently trending.

They have a different tone than the series. I don’t think they’re as good as the show but I think still worth watching if you liked it. I was talking to someone on last weeks post and I agree with their take that Star Trek works better as a show. The movies are usually trying to be epic action instead of the characters and stories they explore in many of the episodes.

I watched all the TNG movies this week. Debating whether I want to watch the kelvin movies or something else now.

It looks like there will be some very unique episodes though!

Still no release date. Sad. Although it does look like the leaked information could be correct.

As someone who works in a service job, people like this are very appreciated! Too many people just see a robot that exists only to serve their every whim and couldn’t possibly have thoughts and feelings of it’s own.

And to the people that say it’s our job to make customers happy, yes it is. But you may find that by trying to brighten that worker’s day they may go out of their way to make sure you have a superior experience. I certainly do, and when I’m the customer I’ve often found it to be the case as well.

Thanks for all the recommendations! It gives me a lot to check out. The ship models are especially nice but really expensive on ebay. It’s too bad they don’t make them any more. Hopefully someone else starts making them.

I will take a look at that! It might be a fun thing to try painting.

Yeah, I think it works best as a show too.

Not really, maybe WOK. I liked the movies but there is always a few things in each one that I don’t like. It’s not as big a deal in the show because it’s just a episode and you start over with the next one.

I’ve seen all the TOS movies in the last two weeks.

That’s an impressive project!

We are assembled here today to pay final respects to our honoured dead. This type of project is why I want to get a printer, but I know in reality I would just print random clutter! Nice job though.

The concept sounds intriguing, I might give the series a try.

Looks really nice! I looked up some videos on it, and it sounds nice too. I love the clean tone on Gretsch guitars.
