  • A different mythic part can alter your experience considerably, nevertheless i would recommend playing something else for a bit before returning to avoid burning out.

Kingmaker is a good option, although you’ll find that it’s a bit less polished than WotR. On top of that the final dungeon extremely tedious, you fight the same composition of creatures over and over again in an extremely confusing map, that part of the game is just not fun. And being on Luna you AFAIK can’t install mods that make this part of the game less un-fun. Overall if you loved WotR you’ll at least like kingmaker.

Looking forward in Owlcat’s lineup, I liked Rogue Trader even more than WotR.

Other good options are the older Obsidian games: Both Pillars of Eternity games and especially Tyranny if you haven’t played those already.

If you already played through those, maybe look at the 3 Shadowrun games, they are a bit niche and the RPG system in use is kinda quirky but I had a blast with them.

(I have no idea which of these recommendations are available on Amazon Luna in your region)

  • Not really relevant for an iPad, but it’s a good example:

Have you ever tried putting a custom ringtone on an iPhone?
In Android you just put an audio file in the ringtones folder, either by plugging it into a pc or with an on-device file manager.

For an iPhone you need to either buy the ringtone from the store or put it on the device through iTunes (🤮). Also it can’t be just any format. It needs to be a specific profile of AAC (if I remember correctly), then rename the file to have a specific extension. There is no way you could do all that without reading a guide.

Here’s how it works in countries that are not dystopian hellscapes:
You tell your boss “I’ll be at the doctor’s on Tuesday from 08:30 to about 11:00.”
You go to the doctor and pick up a paper from the receptionist when you leave that confirms the hours you were there.
You go back to your job and hand HR the paper, they put the hours into the system. The time you spent at the doctor’s office as well as the time you spent going there counts as work time.
This works the same for other things like getting your passport renewed or school events that parents should attend.

If the system in your country is worse in any way you should probably fight to improve it, or get out of there as fast as you can.

  • Personally I enjoy the complicated character building of Grim Dawn way more than the item hunting. This also means I will play a host of characters and eventually complete item sets and have the resources for crafting after half-completed character number 86. For me the grinding is mostly a test on the efficiency of my build.

Maybe look into Warhammer: Chaosbane. It has a point system that superficialy looks similar to Grim Dawns devotions or Path of Exile, but in reality it’s super simple. And while you do collect items, they don’t matter as much as in other ARPGs. The flip side is that it’s kinda hard to fail because the game is so simple.
