1. Position

C and D would be awkward because… genitalia. Especially if it decides to rise.
B is just weird. If I’d be the one on the couch, it feels like the 2nd party is being treated as a lesser being. If on the ground, it’s just legs.
Therefore through the process of elimination I get A.

2. Blanket

Blanket’s cool, but trying to just share one not so much. In theory it might sound good, but adjusting your share will affect the other party, possibly negatively.
One small detail as an example, I like the feel of fabric between my fingers. Therefore I need 4 well positioned creases for one hand. Even slightly pulling on the blanket will screw that up.
I am working under the assumption that “one for me” implies “one for each” (if desired, of course), as otherwise that makes no sense.

Water. Even if there was another drink, I’d still need water to flush my mouth. And water can be good (depends on composition and temperature).

5. Activity

I don’t really game aside from occasional CODM/PUBG on my phone (by which I mean bursts with several months in-between). I don’t care enough to set up extra software on my PC, it’s not worth money, and I don’t even trust the software in the first place. When it comes to consoles, go back to money point.
But if it’s an easy already set-up option, sure.

I just changed r1beta5 to r1beta6 in the repo manager, which worked.

Finally. I played with it some 2 days ago, and despite promoting Beta 5 as latest, that repo was already removed and I couldn’t even update it.

Power is Molex in from separate adapter.
No way a regular USB can power this.

I did more testing. I tried a different adapter, the IDE -> SATA one. With this, it now doesn’t work at all (yellow light with blinking red).

Furthemore, I went to try the USB IDE adapter with a different IDE drive (ASUS). It fucking died. It does not cause issues with Linux (it loaded a CD for the 30 last seconds of its life), but it’s only spinning up in bursts. I also tried giving it a different power source, because that sounded like it was dying, but it made no difference (and the voltage was fine while running).

The more I touch, the more breaks. Perhaps not surprising that a drive made in 2003 stopped working in 2026, but god damn.

Edit: I could only think of 1 thing - look at the caps.
Well, there’s one ribbon cable in the rear, going through a hole in the board that needs to be disconnected before I can access the top of the board. But even after removing all the screws, it wouldn’t move.
It seems like their mounting method is taping it in (or did thermal pads turn into glue over time?).

Virtualised on Linux host, USB passed to guests. Linux guests acted the same as host, and I only ever tried Windows as a guest (where it works).

I didn’t manage to keep a good score during the first year, so I got kicked out, and I have to wait a year to get back as I have to go through admissions same way as a brand new student (and also none of my passed subjects will count except for English…).

As for what I’d be interested to learn and get into, and why:

• German (better job opportunities)
• Ukrainian (I struggled with communication on a dorm as most students living there were from Ukraine)
• Linux Kernel development (Mostly due to interest in mobile Linux.)
• Software reverse-engineering (Could help with above, static malware analysis, and just overall curiosity.)
• Assembly - RISC-V, ARM, AMD64 (The above 2 points, as well as having more control over what software does.)
• C++ (Making my own GUI programs utilizing Qt. I’d also like to modify cdimage to generate shorter tracks, improve the UI and integrate it into K3b. I think it should be possible to put it into pregap on audio CDs (K3b already has support for that bit), as well as combine it with data in “Mixed mode” CD.)
• Digital signal processing (Due to my interest in SDRs.)
• RF circuit and antenna design (For UHF and above.)
• Mobile telecommunications (sharetechnote.com has some interesting info, and I’d like to understand it and know more)
• QEMU (I’d like to at least partially replace my reliance on VirtualBox and be less stupid around Proxmox)
• Management of *BSD and Solaris (NetBSD, FreeBSD, OpenIndiana, Oracle Solaris)
• Networking (We did CCNA in high school, but it got boring, especially with no purpose aside from national competitions I attended thrice. I need to revisit CCNA-level info and move up higher.)

I don’t think that’s a complete list, just what’s on my mind.

Nothing. Even if I was 100% sure about receiving it, $1M isn’t all that much.

Since your music is already there, you can also install Termux, inside it install and configure Navidrome, and use it as a music server to stream into your computer from it.
It would also be useful for adding music since you could also install and set up an SSH server on it, and rsync files easily.

There’s even a possibility of VM escape, perhaps utilizing integrations between guest and host.

Best idea would be separate hardware, but there’s also a chance of malware being embedded into UEFI, so perhaps a way to read/write the chip from external device would be good too.
But perhaps other device firmware could be exploited as well, if there’s something supporting updates.

And maybe it could then connect with vulnerable Bluetooth and WiFi devices, so it would be good to physically remove those.

Perhaps I am a little too paranoid, but I feel like there’s almost always something to exploit.
