So they shaped society so that being aggressively mediocre or even downright incompetent is no hindrance to maintaining your family’s dynastic hold in wealth and power.

As a side effect the various compensatory mechanisms they constructed to paper over their numerous flaws all worked together to elevate the worlds worst piece of barely sentient shit to the peak of wealth and power.

I read some shitty article a while ago that was lamenting the antisemitism on a school campus from “both sides”. They gave examples, like the left wing students hung a sign outside a minority support group that said something like “no zionists” and the right wing example was some kid arrested for trying to literally murder someone because they looked Jewish (but weren’t).

The standards for what counts as antisemitism to these fucks are a complete joke and not remotely the same for “both sides”.

That’s like saying nuclear war could hurt the global economy. True, but there’s probably more significant reasons to be concerned.

You can’t make fun of me for getting exactly what I voted for because I didn’t know what the word “tariff” meant at the time.

I want to ask how they think a tariff would work if it didn’t effect the cost to consumers, but I’m like 100% certain they didn’t think about the consequences of it at all before blindly cheering for something they thought would hurt their enemies: the people who sell them cheap slop clothing.

As far as pain goes, this style of tattoo (mostly lines, hatched shading, no fill) would probably be on the lower end of the spectrum. It’s all subjective, but you’d probably be able to manage just fine unless you have some special sensitivity to pain.
