When I was young, I read a quote: “war doesn’t determine who’s right. It determines who’s left.”
At the time, I thought it quite clever and deep.
Yesterday, my dog woke me up at 6am absolutely DESPERATE to go outside. When I let him out, he just laid down in the grass. It was sunny and what most people would consider beautiful out.
I made him come back in so I could go back to bed and he promptly pooped in the living room.
This is also the attitude taken by Ross Scott.
Does this typo make trying the meat cultural appropriation?
The dollar store near me recently did the same. Almost.
The self checkout machine is still physically there. Presumably all the internals are as well. It’s just turned off and now, as you said, it takes three times longer to buy things.
She looks like a good dog. Thank you for sharing.
Ah, gotcha. I have heard of a pug beagle. Thanks for the clarification!
It’s worthwhile in my eyes. Most people to whom I mention it say “I couldn’t work a ten hour day,” which is a valid perspective, but also I’d rather lose two hours a day over one day a week.
I would prefer 4x8 though.
I was going to mention Reign of Fire until I saw your parenthetical insert.
Guess I’ll go back to my physics-based MMO.
Sounds to me like you lost your mind about this.
TV tropes? There goes my day.
I work a four day workweek, but I also work 25% longer every workday than most people do.
I’m grateful for my extra day off, but I’m also tired every workday. And a lot of non workdays.
Good on you for giving that dog twelve years with you and for being with him for his last breath.
Thank you, and I do take pride in giving her a good home . I don’t remember the details for sure but when I got her from the ASPCA I think she had been there for nine months, which is amazing to me; I don’t know who could see her there and not immediately adopt her.
When she was alive I would sometimes look at her and feel sorry that she had had the hard time she did (she came with some very visible scars), especially when she was having nightmares. Whenever she would whimper in her sleep I would try to wake her and reassure her she was safe.
I’ve had dogs before her and since her, I’ve loved all of them, but I’ve never had one like her.
Thanks, friend. Sharon is beautiful. Hopefully it’s a long time before you have to miss her.
I’ve never heard of a pig beagle, but I’m sorry for your loss. It’s great that you have the dog you do. Maggie looks like a very sweet dog. When I was a kid we had a doberman named Maggie who was also very cute, but my dad was afraid of her (apparently she growled at him a few times) and gave her away. I hope you have your Maggie in good health for a long time.
That’s an awesome TV.
Has she now learned the rest of the alphabet?
Sounds like an improvement to me.
