I think the only movie that actually creeped me out in the past decade was It Follows and Hereditary.

Hereditary was good separately on another level if a person enjoys the history of horror. Hereditary managed to write a story that pulled elements from the 1970’s Horror movie greats. So, it felt like a homage to those greats while also not being predictable. They went for it.

I agree with you about most horror—especially PG13 horror. Those kinds of “horror” are for teens to ignore on a date at the movies rather than an actual horror film.

To me, the Reddit experience feels like shouting into the void now. Very much like alone in a crowded room (of mostly bots). You can go back and check if your posts and comments there had been blocked from being seen by others. It’s staggering how many posts and comments are blocked over there. Honestly, and my guess is you already know this (and others I see beat me to it), American Conservatives mostly haven’t proposed anything else because the ACA was a conservative policy and was implemented first by Governor Romney in Massachusetts.

Yeah I’m very very glad I’m “just” ADHD. When I was diagnosed it wasn’t possible to be diagnosed as autistic and ADHD. They didn’t fully change that until I was well an adult. I was more ADHD as a kid so, ADHD it was.

I didn’t realize until I was middle aged that I’m probably level 1 and on the spectrum as well as ADHD.

So, it’s like you said, maybe a blessing in disguise. I just don’t want all my brethren and all of my sisters who did get diagnosed to face a horrible fate.

My cousins were at a similar town hall in Florida. Maybe this one. It’s a deep red county and tons of people showed up. From reports from my family, most of the people there were Republican and very very angry. Like the loudest by far were Republican and they were just furious at the absolute chaos this Admin is engaging in.

So, for what it’s worth, that’s our small personal story.

Will it lead to representation? Maybe. Probably not. But it’s not nothing. And it sure ain’t praise.

Yeah, on this topic I feel like she’s in the ballpark. My girlfriend and I game in the same spaces but we don’t always announce that we are together IRL for privacy sake. And we are both very independent people.

The amount of weird dudes she’s ran into that have used “high value man” or “high value woman” is absolutely more than one. They’re pretty common to bump into in online spaces.

The last time she ran into a problem with a dude like this—she read me the chat as it was going down. The guy was clearly into her but couldn’t handle that she was taken and had no interest. So, this random dude proceeded to call me a cuck (hahaha), asked if I “knew what she was up to” (gaming? lol), and that no high value man would want her! He did this in a public gaming space too and about 50 people thankfully dog piled and ratioed him into oblivion.

Oh well! I guess she’s stuck with “her low value cuck man” who makes her coffee in bed every morning and with whom she raised a cute and healthy family with. She’s allowed to do whatever she wants and her male doesn’t even try to control her. How horrible! She’ll never recover!
