4·8 days agoI believe this was addressed in an interview somewhere where the Disco writers said they planned to go with Rodenberry’s desire to “pretend the Klingons were always like that” and ignore the Enterprise lore completely. Let me see if I can find it.

1·17 days agoAnd honestly, my sourness with the 32nd century is sourness with Disco. It remains the only Trek series I haven’t seen every single episode of.

I’ll watch it, but I’m already skeptical because it’s set in the 32nd century. That’s like setting Star Wars stuff in the Sequels Era (don’t do it).

It runs my TV too, which is a 7-year-old Dell All-in-One touch screen that works great.
But with Linux, I just can’t believe how unstable it is, even when I do the absolute basic things.
That doesn’t sound right.
Start with Linux Mint. I’ve helped Boomers use it. My dad has been using it as his daily driver for almost 5 years and he doesn’t know the difference between an OS and a Word Processor (he keeps calling LibreOffice “Linux”).
I saw a Youtube comment the other day calling for Trump to throw away the constitution, declare himself king and execute judges who don’t enact his will. It had likes.
I mean… it’s probably Russian bots? Right?
Life… Uh…
Weird mathematical fact about that,
That works out to almost exactly every person on Earth killing exactly one animal every day.
