LibRedirect Firefox addon is good to automatically redirect various websites, the main one I use it fkr being reddit. Redlib etc servers aren’t reliable, but it’ll ping the different ones and find which is working well.

There’s the “right to choose” in England, which allows you to pick a private provider that the NHS will pay for. Wait lists are not short, and places often pause referrals, but wait times are months not years. You need your GP to do the referral and some don’t want to but they have to. Then there’s a bunch of problems with the shared care agreements not being accepted too.
It’s a lot to look into but it might get you there sooner. Ideologically I hate this as it is a waste of NHS money but for those that need the care in a timely manner it can be the only option. It is frustrating that there hasn’t been enough investment in the NHS.
I forgot to address, I don’t have any good personal recommendations as I haven’t tried many companies but I know there are a number of decent German pedal companies and I’ve heard good things about JAM pedals (Greek) and Thorpy (UK). Poly Effects (Australian but not US) seem to be putting out interesting stuff too.
Andy Demos on YouTube has a few Origin Effects demos that are good. I’ll admit to having bought a Chinese knockoff of one of their pedals because I wasn’t willing to spend that much on a compressor and it’s good enough that I’ll definitely buy a real one if I ever start gigging again (it’s one of the stacked ones).
You may know this but in case you don’t the Morning Glory is a modified Blues Breaker pedal, so you should be able to widen your search for alternatives with that.
The pedal brands I don’t think have good European alternatives are Empress, Chase Bliss, and Hologram Electronics because the digital side is strongly copyright protected, which unfortunately means less ability for builders to build on each other’s work. That said, there are still cool non-US pedals out there in that kinda space.
The Origin Effects compressors are UK-based (not EU but not US) and very well liked. Where are you based? There may be smaller builders near you that cover your needs.
Great for turning off a device or several devices without having to unplug (e.g. if the sockets are behind a bookcase, this is much more convenient). Not a super common need but when it saves moving furniture it helps. Given that UK switches are tougher to plug in and unplug than most (due to safety features), I prefer using a switch. Also, the switches are cheap and give more options, so may as well!
I rely on one for a light where the switch broke and wasn’t easily replaceable, so being able to fall back on the mains switch meant I can keep using the light.
At least with Good Omens you can focus on Terry. This is grim.
I didn’t mean to go through all the questions but I got carried away, so hope thay helps!

Mull is fine if you use the divestos repo directly, but the f-droid version is behind
The fade-out could work but would add more delay time, but the buffering would almost certainly require additional hardware because radios typically can’t process two DAB signals at once and it can’t pre-buffer a live broadcast unless it adds an extra delay, which is just shifting the problem to a different cause. Speed ramping could maybe account a bit for this, but then if you change stations multiple times quickly this would fail. Also, speed ramping would probably annoy people, especially for music, unless imperceptibly slow. That would require a decent buffer, meaning you’d have to delay switching the channel and also not change the channel for a bit, otherwise you’d get the pause.
The amount of complexity any potential solution adds is not especially worth it, as much as I recognise that it is annoying. Also, since most people aren’t too fussed by the pause, I doubt anyone would bother to produce a radio with the hardware for this (and the software on top).
The DAB decode just takes some time - DAB will always have more latency than FM due to the increased processing. Not sure how much that can be shrunk (probably a fair bit but the cost wouldn’t be worth it for most people), but the crossfade would not work because the FM would be ahead of the DAB.
The only way to avoid channel changing delay is to constantly be decoding multiple channels, which would likely increase the power consumption and device cost a fair bit.
Masturbation won’t do that, you should probably go to a doctor. Also, give a toy a go if it sounds fun!

If you or someone you know is handy with a soldering iron, there are replacement hall-effect sensor sticks available now. I am planning on swapping mine out with Gulikit ones because I am very stubborn about giving in to planned obsolescence (I 100% believe this is deliberate on Sony’s part).
Excited teenagers definitely would. Honestly, I bet anyone that sees the marketing for a game they’re excited for and hasnt been burned before in that way is a prime candidate for preordering.
I agree that it’s a bad idea to preorder or pay extra, especially with Ubisoft. However, following that logic they are basically preying on people new to the hobby, which sucks and deserves to be called out.
