This was in California. My American history teacher was a confederate defender. Marked it partial credit to say the Civil War was fought over slavery. Full credit for the answer “states rights.” Fully wrong when I said “states rights for its citizens to own people like property.” His ignorance was astounding even to my 17 year old self. When I recognized the joke I was dealing with, I treated the class like a joke.

Mr. Angle, I remember you and your bullshit.

There were a few emails from people asking epstein for some of his jerky. Annoyed replies saying that the supply of jerky given them should have lasted longer. Then an email from Maxwell saying something to the effect of “there will be no more jerky for a while, Mr. Epstein has decided to return to normal food.”

I do not know in what other context that could have possibly been other than cannibalism.

  • In my experience, ADHD is responsible for masking ASD behaviors. Am I making enough eye contact? Too much information, need to look away. Am I engaging my face enough? Are my expressions in line with the information I’m hearing?

As I understood that my abnormal behaviors were likely a result of ASD, my need to mask became less of a priority also making the ASD more noticeable. I don’t really look at faces when I talk anymore unless I really know the person, but it makes me able to actively engage. Agreed, not disappearing but ADHD is less relevant now than the ASD. We will never be normal, but we can mitigate the symptoms enough to engage to a satisfactory degree.

Corporations have this hilarious way of delegating the onus to the customer. “It is EVERYONES responsibility to recycle” - makes items out of non-recycleables. “If you can’t afford to tip, you can’t afford to eat out.” -lobbies to keep minimum wages low.
