UK schools have way more than 6 weeks per year. Summer holiday is 5-6 weeks alone
Im on that network quite a lot, I dont want to do that every time im using it
Oh yeah, ive had this on a public network where the port for time sync was firewalled and had to pull the time from google to fix
He is a human
I see loads of people holding pens weird ways I dont think it is a sign of autism.
Yes that is true and a good option, but fairphones are also modular and designed for home repair
They actually havent looked like that for years. The graphic photos are still there, but they are not allowed branding anymore and all cigarette boxes have to be the same grey/brown colour with a tiny font
You are right, /e/ is now named Murena
Yes does run android but they publish instructions how to install custom rom or you can get one running murena OS which is degoogled. I just run stock android and disable google myself
Boomer humour, sign me up
Fairphone from netherlands
Barren walls, neat small hordes of interesting things on bookshelves and in drawers, all my furniture is either beech wood or its grey or black. I was a bit more of an interest hoarder when I was younger, but then I lived with a trinket collector and I developed an aversion to too much stuff so now I get rid of stuff I dont use.
Yeah those are to do with aviation I think
A lake where you can hire a row boat
Reminds me of a building on the boat lake in Paris’ Bois de Boulogne
Im nicole
I assume this is here because maybe you feel he is displaying autistic traits? Firstly: im not a psychologist. From reading 50s and 60s sci fi, authors tend to not seem neurotypical, at least to me anyway - likely a helpful trait in the genre. It seems as though a common idea of the times that seems to be reflected in a lot of their writing, is an overdiagnosis of schizophrenia, and how it was generally used as a blanket term for anyone that just didnt think right.
I dont like badly planned bike lanes. We have some on a main road near me where the bike lane is replaced with parking bays every 50 yards with no thought to how a bicycle is supposed to merge with traffic each time. You reach the end of each section, need to slow almost to a stop to turn out from the end of the lane because the barricade is about a metre from the first parked car in the bays
