Has he considered resigning?
Nest has said these products will continue to work as “dumb” thermostats. You can walk up to them and turn the temp up and down. You just can’t access them from your phone or the web anymore.
It’s still ridiculous, but at least it’s as good as a non-smart thermostat.
Honestly I wish Google had never have been allowed to buy Nest. They ruin everything they touch.
So much unnecessary e-waste.
That frowny face is missing its nose. That’s the real software gore.
The bike thieves I’ve seen have used car jacks to pry the lock apart. I have no idea if these expensive locks would hold up that any better.
I hope no one gets it. It should be its own separate company.
Pepsi has actually been diversifying to sell more than sugar water because they know people are moving away from it.
Great. When Tesla finally implodes under the weight of Musk, someone like Electrify America can buy up the charging network, repaint everything green, and slap their logo on it.
The new settings app in macOS is a ridiculous wall of text. So I prefer the one on the right.
Never had this problem with YouTube’s algorithm. If anything, it offers 20 more videos from the same channel after I watch just one.
Are you using the options where you tell it you don’t like this video/don’t recommend this channel/thumbs down the video? There are like three different ways to tell YouTube you’re not interested.
We pretty much figured that out when PG&E was business as usual after burning down half the state.
The original made for TV miniseries with Powers Booth was really well done.
“It is a recognized ozone-depleting chemical… The compound was used extensively as a pesticide until being phased out by most countries in the early 2000s.”
“The Montreal Protocol stipulates that bromomethane use be phased out.”
I guess everyone is phasing it out except the US? Figures.
This actually sounds useful. You don’t have to send logs when filling a bug, and macos/ios logs are pretty much stripped of anything privacy-invading. You can view your logs if you have a Mac to see for yourself.
Using a computer to find similarities in crash logs means it’s faster for engineers to track down the cause and work on a solution.
Do I blame RFK or the idiots who are dumb enough to listen to him?🤔
Just adds clutter for me. There are already enough icons on by default and I’ve disabled a lot of them as it’s just not info I’m interested in. A setting to disable this one would be welcome. Thanks for your time and consideration!
Meh. I wouldn’t eat chicken these days either. You should see how it’s made. Corporate farming is abhorrent.
“‘ Everyone thinks DOGE is great,’ another administration official said.”
Everyone?
“Musk clapped back by calling Bessent a ‘Soros agent’"
