Lol, no thanks
Not really what you are asking for, but I have transitioned back to physical media/discs and I have moved away from modern series as a result. Shows today either feel underdeveloped or if they are good they are cancelled in the name of profit.
It’s nice to watch series that you know have finished and you will get to see the whole story. Currently I’m watching Workaholics and I’m about to rewatch GOT up to the last season.
I play it on my steam deck all the time and it runs great. Frame rate is fairly consistent
I’ve been just buying the music on 7digital or Bandcamp lately. Forgot this app was around
Stop trying to make Tron happen
What a waste of time. Rather than making new ips they would rather just rerelase basically the same movie again. Movie Studios take no risks anymore. Shameful
The show had lost its magic long before, but the Walking Dead matching up Rick and Michonne. Having read all the comics, they are so wrong for eachother. Great friends, but not relationship level. The big mistake the show made was casting a terrible actress for Andrea so they had to kill her off and thus took away Ricks love interest from the comics.
It really was one in a long list of bad decisions that destroyed an excellent show.
Can Dexter ever just be done? The original show started almost 20 years ago now. If it had been a mini series or capped at 4 seasons, it would go down as one of the best. It’s beating a dead horse with how drawn out it has gone
My goodness guys, this is embarassing. It was supposed to be out already
I was listening to a podcast where the found that Spotifys recommendations are set to play songs you like always. They don’t want to challenge your listening habits out of fear that people will cancel their subscriptions. Basically they will always play it safe
It’s a terrible time right now. I’ve applied for over 100 roles this year and only got 3 interviews. Interviews went well, but you never move on. Likely they had someone in mind for the position already.
I think I’m close to reaching out to one of those temp agencies and try to find a year contract somewhere with the hope I end up getting a permanent offer somewhere.
I have 10 years experience in operations and finished a BBA a year ago and it has not amounted in any new opportunities sadly.
I was in Portland a few years ago and the encampments were extensive. Like nothing I have ever seem. You passed massive ones while on the train from the airport. The idea that the solution to it is just to ban camping rather than actually provide stable housing for a massive vulnerable population is so brain dead.
I am using RSS for keeping up on news and I defintely prefer it. The main thing I am missing is game notifications. Even if it could email me or show up in my calendar
I strongly believe The Office should have ended when Michael left. His departure was perfect and if they had ended the rest of the show there, they would have finished the show on a high. Instead it dragged on and it became a shell of itself.
If I can advocate for Parks and Rec’s end. I will say that they found a way to wrap it up very well giving each character a satisfying ending to their arcs. The new characters are defintely forgettable and sour the later episodes a bit, but it is worth it for the conclusion.
I feel like everyday this guy finds new ways to lower the bar for himself.
Lol, all producers care about is getting thanked in a speech.
Oh no, people wont be able to buy oversized terrible trucks anymore. How terrible for all of us.
Lol, I like this better than the one that is supposed to inspire you to work forever and never question the purpose.
I think it depends on your preference. I worked out at the gym for many years before covid and after the pandemic I built a home gym with a power rack, barbell, adjustable dumbells, and cable machine. Biggest advantage of this is not having to share a rack with anyone. It was sometimes annoying to have to wait for equipment.
What I’ll say is that I really appreciated starting at the gym as I got to have access to every machine and workout equipment. This let me build a workout plan over years and get a good idea of what sort of equipment I would need to stay active. I also found it helpful to see what other people were doing at the gym. Some people clearly have no idea what they are doing, but seeing what other experienced people at the gym were doing gave me some great ideas of what to incorporate into my workouts.
I also did have a personal trainer for 6 months and I highly recommend this, especially when you are new to working out. The biggest value is from having someone experienced give you tips and tricks on how to improve your form and workout safely. Especially as you get stronger and lift heavier weights. It’s easy to lift something slightly wrong and really hurt yourself.
Overall, I always enjoyed my time at the gym and it gave me the knowledge to built a great home gym.
I agree, Ted Lasso was done.
