I don’t want to test this right now, but some of my previous devices would just reboot after keeping the power button pressed for approx. 10-30 sec, overruling the need to use the on-screen shutdown menu - probably to be able to escape a frozen/broken system without waiting for the unremovable battery to run out. That could very well still be the case for some current devices out there.

1·6 days agoThank you. I have seen the ASM1166 mentioned before as part of such a solution, but the other suggestions were new to me.
Can you also confirm to me, have I got it right that (some/all? of) the N100 boards has everything included regarding CPU, GPU and RAM, while most other mini-ITX boards come without those? Or did I get that wrong? Sorry for bothering you, but it’s all still a bit confusing to me, and I have an empty Jonsbo N3 case, and some 22TB drives that are longing to move into their house.

1·1 month agoThe app called “Clock” (com.android.deskclock) came pre-installed on my GrapheneOS. No idea why yours didn’t have it.
Sounds like a pretty interesting collection to me!
