Ich glaube, dass das so ein typisches Problem der Verwaltung ist: sie ist wahnsinnig träge. Es hat Jahre gedauert bis sie überhaupt auf Social Media erscheinen durfte. Jetzt diese eigene Entscheidung (vor allem im Nothaushalt wie in Wuppertal) in Frage zu stellen und (für die Verwaltung) junge Strukturen „schon wieder“ umbauen zu müssen, passt einfach nicht in den Auftrag der Verwaltung.

As I said: opposition is always a chance to rethink your position and get a sharper profile. The Left is moving in a good direction after the breakup. Parties are huge constructs that need sone time to change. My hope is that the Greens will be pulled to the left as well.
Um welche Wahl handelt es sich?
Reminds me of German Designer Kurt Weidemann who redesigned the Logo of German train company Deutsche Bahn in the 90s. He inverted the colors, got rid of one outline — and still saves the company millions over the years because of the paint that is saved putting the logo on all trains. All while modernising the typography, but remaining true to the brand.
This is what design is about — everything else is decoration.
But the Left and Greens are in opposition — this is a chance. Hopefully they are able to mobilise as well in the coming years.

Ich würde sagen, dass es vor allen Dingen eine Frage der gelebten Differenzkultur ist. Finden wir einen kleinsten gemeinsamen Nenner der uns über die unterschiedlichen Meinungen bei anderen Themen hinwegsehen lässt? Wie gehen wir mit diesen Unterschieden um — hauen wir uns die Köpfe ein, zerstreiten uns und reden nie wieder miteinander oder können wir zuhören, verstehen wo die Differenz herkommt und einen stabilen Status von „agree to disagree“ erlangen?
Aus meiner Sicht muss das zuerst bei der Linken und ihren assoziierten Organisationen passieren bzw. passiert aktuell: noch nie haben die Interventionistische Linke und der SDS, die beide der Partei sehr kritisch begegnen, so stark für die Linke (oder einzelne Kandidierende) Häuser-Wahlkampf gemacht. Da mussten einige über große Schatten springen.
Dann halte ich es in Bezug auf links-grün mit dem ehemaligen Hauptgeschäftsführer des Deutschen Paritätischen Wohlfahrtsverbandes Ulrich Schneider: „Es geht nur öko-sozial.“
Das müssen auch die Grünen verstehen — und wenn sie dafür eine starke Linkspartei benötigen, dann wird das in den kommenden Monaten hoffentlich passieren. Die Opposition kann da auch heilsam sein.
Die SPD ist in der aktuellen Verfassung verloren, wird in der neuen Regierung zerrieben werden und kann sich dem Bündnis SW anschließen um in der Versenkung zu verschwinden — oder sich sozialpolitisch reformieren. Auch da benötigt es aber Druck von links(-grün). Sie können dann Juniorpartner in einer Rot-Grün-Roten Koalition zu werden.
Puh, ich weiß worauf du (und OP) hinaus möchtest, aber das Narrativ „Linke sind zerstritten und Rechte treu vereint“ ist genauso pauschal wie falsch.
Ja, Konflikte haben in unterschiedlichen Weltanschauungen unterschiedliche Ursprünge und werden unterschiedlich gelöst. Ja, in linken Kreisen gibt es weniger Kadavergehorsam.
Aber Vergangenheiten die reaktionär bedient werden können sind ebenfalls vielfältig: Von unterschiedlichen Monarchien bis hin zum Faschismus. Von der Kleinstaaterei bis zum römischen Kaiserreich. Bis sich die AfD durchgesetzt hat, gab (und gibt) es zig rechte Kleinparteien von NPD über die Heimat, den dritten Weg, die Blauen, WerteUnion etc pp.
Ich bin auch unzufrieden damit wie wenig sich in den letzten Jahrzehnten gerade in Deutschland auf der linken Seite zusammengerauft werden konnte, aber das ist eben auch den vielen gesellschaftlichen Veränderung jüngeren Vergangenheit geschuldet (Neoliberalismus, Klimakatastrophe, Digitalisierung usw.) auf die Bewegungen und Parteien unterschiedlich reagieren. Es entstehen neue Brüche, es passieren Umformungen. Das sind alles langwierige Aushandlungsprozesse. Gerade aktuell habe ich aber das Gefühl auf der linken Seite wird die Stoßrichtung langsam klarer und es kann wieder etwas größeres zusammenfinden.

Oh, the different types of elections in Europe are a mess indeed but at the same time I‘m aware that they are the result of a long chain of compromises which are the foundation of any meaningful iterative democratic agreement.
The other one would be revolutionary and the last couple of decades were not a time of revolutionary change. Perhaps this happens in the coming years (looking at the current world political situation it seems more and more likely). But do we know if the outcome will be beneficial?
I would like to see the EU reform itself, but at the same time I know that democratic process has to be complex. „Streamlining“ as the US shows at the moment is not desirable if you like all the advantages of a caring society.
I live in a city (layer1) in the state of North Rhine-Westphalia (layer2) in the federal republic of Germany (layer3) which is a member state of the European Union (layer4). I have voted in elections for all of the above and have always supported the idea of a united Europe. I would vote for a federal democratic world parliament as well, if the UN would become a more meaningful body.
Imho a federal world should be the goal and a united Europe is a step in this direction — especially in times of worldwide crisis like climate change or global economic collapse. I like the principles of bottom up and subsidiarity, but I‘m aware that there will always be the possibility of to much centralisation. It’s a struggle that might never end.
Germany is a federation as well as Switzerland and Canada, the US and India.
How centralised and integrated a federation is will always be an ongoing discussion, but one could argue that the EU is a federal state in all but name.
