What a cesspool. Fuck that place. I know that it’ll probably never die, but I hope one day more common folks begin to realise how fucked it is and leave.

we need to end the surveillance economy all together. Make social media unprofitable.
THIS!

It’s the UK trying to out-stupid America?

Correct

Correct
Let me firstly say that I 100% agree with all of the above. And secondly, I don’t work in tech.
But I think most of the frustration from the grey beards is possibly because they’re burnt out. They’ve probably been answering the same questions their entire life. And there comes a point when the actual answer becomes, RTFM.
I don’t agree it’s an appropriate response. The mere fact that the acronym has profanity in it suggests it’s an aggressive response.
I’ve been on forums before where, instead of saying “RTFM”, someone had just linked me to the appropriate man page… Essentially the same message, but far more helpful and a much less insulting.
In my opinion it’s not wrong to tell someone to read the manual, especially if the answer is in it, but it’s how you say it that matters.

I actually don’t think it’d be that uncomfortable. Not at that subtle angle…
It’d probably be better for blood flow and prevent getting a dead leg.
Jitsi is a great open source alternative to Google Meet and Zoom etc

If it works, don’t try to fix it
Ahh thanks for that clarification. That makes more sense. I suppose I’m combined type too. Was likely more evident when I was younger. These days my “hyperactivity” presents as hyperfocus whereas I would climb the walls as a kid.
Not sure that constitutes AuDHD… I’m inattentive ADHD with a tendency to hyperfocas on things that I’m really interested in. It’s worse if I’ve taken my meds too because then I’m locked in, hunter is suppressed… I literally don’t need food when I’m working on something I love.
I’d suggest creating an issue in GitHub then try do downgrade to a previous version to see if that works
While I acknowledge the innocent intent behind these humorous signs, they run risk of trivialising the issue. It’s possible to make a sign that includes everyone without doing this.
I cannot answer definitively, but it’s highly unlikely that windows could access any data from your Linux partition. That said, if you’re that concerned about the potential for this to happen, perhaps your shouldn’t use windows at all. This is coming from a PC gamer who uses Linux exclusively.
Short answer: yes

This is good. This data will eventually help influence game developers to support Linux. It won’t happen over night, but we this trend continues, it’ll eventually start getting some attention.
I think gay and bi kinda covers it for most people. Of course go with whatever suits you best, but we’ve already got lots of labels so introducing more might just add confusion for a lot of people. I agree it’s a cool term tho.
Yeah I kinda agree. But the hype it’s getting is mostly from tweens and fans of K-pop. It was never going to the most amazing movie ever. I think it’s getting lots of praise because compared to all the Disney classics it’s different, and I’d say more enjoyable you watch. It’s just a kind of refreshing take on the genre. My kids both love it, and I like it so it’s a win for me 😅
I read the other day that a good response to these fuck heads is ridicule. They’re not only prepared for a fight, it’s what they want. What they can’t stand however is being ridiculed and laughed at. The most demoralising thing you can do is to laugh in their face because of how fucking ridiculous they are.
Sure, tell them to Fuck right Off… but do it with a chuckle and a grin. They won’t know how to handle it.
