  • Posting again just to answer your question.

I have been water fasting for 6 days straight. I had a bad experience ending my fast where I overloaded on carbs and therefore had a huge insulin spikes which in turn demolished me, made me bedridden puking, could not eat. Thing is I didn’t think it through enough to do it wisely. What’s my daughter’s birthday at the day I ended my fast. And I was so tempted to nibble on that cinnamon bun that we had for her birthday. And after that I just had a rush to eat, so I ate a lot in a short time window.

So I had not eaten for 6 days and then I ate like 2.5 meals in the span of 3 hours.

Now I’m much more smart about it. Next time I will water fast I will lay down the carbs. And when I end my water fast I will slowly accelerate the eating. The body had a lot of days to adjust to me not eating. It’s super important to give it time on the way back to eating as well. Lesson learned.

  • As somebody with diagnosed ADHD, it doesn’t work to “sit down and meditate” if I’m not rnaodnly finding myself in a setting where it would be a guided meditation where somebody else would lead. I am saying randomly because due to the fact that I cannot sit down and just do it, I don’t have much experience doing it, thus its hard to make the practice an interest and therefore ultra hard to make it a routine or a something I’d do. I could want to do it super bad but I won’t.

I would feel stressed attempting to relax and spending the time to meditate.

  • Hey there, thanks for responding two weeks later.

So I al doing this trial run where I will find my dosage. It has been mostly great! My thoughts are still not spiralling as they used to.

I’ve been experiencing the negative side where I get trouble sleeping. And I feel a bit of, not really full on headache as I know it, but a “cousin symptom” of it?

The negative effects occured at the same time I increased dosage from 18 mg + 18 mg morning- afternoon to 36 mg + 18 mg. I have a scheduled follow up meeting in the middle of April but I asked them yesterday to get back to me with an earlier time to discuss dosage, side effects, etc. The idea with the test run is for me to go up to 36 morning + 36 afternoon tomorrow, but I am reluctant ATM because I want to handle sleep better
