I know I’m being super pessimistic and I hope you are right and would love to be wrong. The trajectory of Kamala’s 2024 campaign pretty much destroyed any notion I had that Dems as a party will ever take any other course but just left of R enough to show daylight between the two. Every time R moves right D just follows.
And that attitude is how we got here:
committed to primary out the centrists and turn them into a real opposition party.
I can only say good luck to him. I think the party still wants to be R-lite again.

So is pretending the internet is not part of “real life” like it’s 1998.
policies require that kids with learning disabilities can have an IEP (Individualized Education Program)and teachers have to come up with alternative learning for multiple kids, leaving them with little time to do anything else.
Please don’t throw mud at IEPs. I grew up in the 70s when all the “retarded” kids were lumped in together regardless of issue, and now have a son who can only attend public school due to having an IEP and specialized support.
If more money needs to be spent to help teachers (including getting more of them or more help for those who there are) I’m all for it, but this sounds a little current-POTUS-ish.

Can you point to the part of my comment where I said anything at all about voting for Democrats? Because I’m pretty sure I wrote a very lengthy comment about Republicans and Conservatives.
Giving R more power at any level is laughably foolish. Everyone understands that today, I just hope people remember it this time.
