AltaVista also got blown out of the water by google(back when it was just a search engine), and that was in the 00s not the 90s. 25 to 35 years ago is a long time, search is so so much better these days(or worse if you use a “search” engine like Google now).

Just to be clear to anyone reading this, please vote. Please vote in your local elections. I just don’t think voting alone is going to change violent behavior from big corps. If you don’t understand that more action is required than just voting at this point you need to look up from whatever you have your head stuck in.
