same. i had a friend that was going to pay me 2 bitcoins to drive him 20 minutes to check out a car and then back if he didn’t buy it. i decided that i would just do it for free because we were friends and i didn’t want to figure out the wallet stuff. woops.

I volunteered at my local tool library today to remind myself that my daily behaviors have a more tangible effect on my community than voting occasionally.
4·8 months agoI think this is the source of the story. It’s from James Truman’s and Michael Wolff’s podcast Fire and Fury. You may remember Michael from his media appearances after writing his book by the same name about the beginning of the Trump administration.

That’s you, drops of water and you’re on top of the mountain of success. But one day you start sliding down the mountain and you think wait a minute; I’m a mountain top water drop.
