I have been doing some reading, and it seems like you’d be giving up a bit of functionality with not having a smart BMS with that victron piece.

For a future-proof, safer, and smarter setup, upgrading to a CANBus- or RS485-enabled BMS that speaks Modbus or Victron CAN protocol is highly recommended. It makes system integration smoother and battery life longer.

Yeah that’s a really tall first layer. What size nozzle are you using? I have an XL and the default for a .4mm nozzle is .20mm. I’ll sometimes go .24 or .25 but never higher

In going to be honest, I don’t get the vitriol about a physical audio jack any more. I used to agree but I bought a nice set of bluetooth earbuds on clearance years ago and never looked back. I’d rather have wireless charging than an audio jack if im going to give up physical space in the phone.

I get all the reasons too, battery life for the buds, losing them, built in tether… But being forward with you all, most of those aren’t actually issues for me.
