Yes, it’s pretty terrible. This doesn’t mean the teachers are bad. Most of them are doing their best to work within a system that doesn’t care about them or their students.

I think it’s similar to why Bill Gates gives away his wealth. They know they need to do something benevolent with their money to keep up the facade that it’s best for humanity if they have it.

Honestly, I’m all for this. While the American/Israeli regime is awful, so is the job market. Joining the military can give purpose and direction in lives that otherwise have neither.

Austerity is fine if it starts with the people at the top. Then we can see how much we have when they’re not living like kings.

We all need to stop contributing to the US economy as much as reasonably possible.

This doesn’t mean you need to stop working if you’re an American (although if you can, go ahead) but you should try to spend as little money as possible so there’s less economic activity overall. If you need to spend money, try to do it in a way that causes dollars to leave the country rather than stay in it.

Great things happen when the wealthy pay their fair share.
