as another software’s admin I’m just asking if account creation on those lemmy servers can be scripted/automated, without having a human interaction first.

This is an admin choice.

If not then well, let a robot create new account on every registration free server he could find on internet, all called nicole$number, with the same image and bio, and prepare to pass the time to ban them forever.
Strange there are no other 10 yet around

Forgive me, English is not my native language.
I’m not saying that they don’t do anything, or they don’t have a regular daytime job, or that I don’t appreciate a good discussion space.

I’m just saying that chick spammers create accounts easily, if you let open registrations without manual approval.

At this point, what do you suggest doing ?
Shouldn’t we build a shared list of fake accounts to block, in order to try to reduce the impact ?
Aren’t you following the topic / community / forum ?

io uso pleroma da sempre sulla mia istanza personale, come prestazioni e’ un buonissimo software, seguo un migliaio di persone e sono seguito da circa 600 ( con tutto che molti sono idle da quel di)

Il problema principale, spiace dirlo parlando di sw opensource, e’ la mancanza di adulti nella stanza, il progetto sta fermo per mesi e quando va avanti, vengono implementate cose inutili, e non si sistemano tutti quei piccoli fastidiosi bug (con bridgy fed, con podcastindex, con castopod!) che si aggiusterebbero con mezz’ora di collaborazione, ho visto le richieste, non mie, cadere nel vuoto sui github.
