  • Well, since it’s so nicely asked, here’s one. banner If you’re wondering why I didn’t lead by offering that, it’s a manner of stance. Shitjustworks made the choice use AI “art”. It was a political choice. This is a pro AI community. As I said, lines are drawn. Shitjustworks picked their side long ago, I was slower to pick mine. I now think that someone who’d chose an AI banner, even over the absence of a banner is not on my side. Anyway, waiting for you to see to this comment is the last thing I have to do before deleting my account, so please reply to notify me when you did, whethrt or not you have anything to say; and I’ll be on my way. As for this ‘banner’, I don’t believe it’ll be used and I don’t care if it is. The point of making it was just a point: Drawing isn’t a hard skill. Those who want to learn can. Those who ask receive.

  • I knew a woman who was absolutely certain she could have any guy easily. it’s true she was most attractive, but also super toxic, like she really had a history of driving her partners insane. Then she took interest in a rich boy who’d recently made some successful investment in timber trade. The dude in question was no stranger to toxicity either, he’d been quite the fuckboy. One guy almost beat him up over this once and everyone cheered, but they ended up becoming friends, and his new bestie really had a good influence on him, he’d become a pretty decent guy. Anyway, the toxic lady made advances on the ex-fuckboy and he said “No, don’t take it personally, I’d rather not be turned into a donkey or whatever it is you do to your boyfriends, thanks you.”

But she did take it personally. Her old father owned quite the estate, including a very big, strong and aggressive bull. She unleashed it on the town to destroy the homes and devour the crops. The bull was also toxic, so no food would grow in its wake for seven years or something. But ex-fuckboi and his niceboi bff were very strong, so they killed the bull, and brought its carcass to toxic lady, as a sassy offering, which she didn’t appreciate.

  • Depends on how it’s handled from there, but there are quite a few fantasy lores wherein deities gain their power from the worship, fear, of even just awareness of mortals; so depending on this specific game’s lore it could make sense. But of course, that’s just the “why”, there might be cause for elaboration on the " how" and the “who”. Good stories could certainly be drawn from there, I’d imagine an entire order created for the purpose of enforcing the taboo around these deities, everyone with knowledge of them being forced to take vows of silence or be killed, massive burnings of scrolls, shattering of tablets, spying and inquisitions to find those who break the taboo… And certainly, there’d be some stuff in there that can somehow be tied to the main story. Maybe a group faced by the party could be the heirs, the ghosts, of the magical creations of that order. Or perhaps those of the repressed.
