The cereal mixing is on point. I’ll get Aldi’s Reese’s Puffs and Crunch Berries clones and either mix them like Bello, or CB first and then Puffs in the now berried/jellied (?) milk.
Linkin Park + Shitty last name + I think the number was random 20+ years ago

I wish I could love horror games, VR or not. I’m not particularly fond of jumpscares or chase/evasion sequences, but the premises always seen so engaging. Hell, I even put down Alyx because of Jeff.
The only horror I can handle is psychological / Lovecraftian, otherworldly shitshows beyond human comprehension. I think that’s why the liminal space genre fits so well. The emptiness is enough horror for me, and yet inviting at the same time.
Beardo Benjo also did a UEVR test. As promising as it already is, and with 700+ mods already on the Nexus, I’d like to see the basic backbone of SkyrimVR, before I’m gonna immerse myself in Cyrodiil. VRIK, HIGGS, & PLANCK is really all I’m asking for to start lol. Also, I could easily see my R7 7700/RX 7800XT crumble at the sight of this.
EDIT: And of course I spoke too soon… https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nKR5fQ9yDnM
Honestly posted this early morning so I never put thought into who… Niffty would be chaos incarnate. But going by her previous crush, Tex (before she knew Bee), I can’t pinpoint anyone, least in the buff dude(tte) fashion.
EDIT: Just realized you asked weirdest, not best… Pentious? I feel he’d get the same vibe as with Cherry Bomb.
Now with the Hellaverse update, I wonder who she’s texting. Also, that text is spot on for Loona.
We have this card game called Ducking High which is basically a bunch of stoner questions and philosophical inquiries and get your mind all goofy. It’s honestly even good for non-high activities, lots of good icebreaker topics.
You aren’t wrong about the SP getting boring at times. I’ll usually find myself kitted out after a week in game and bored and then asking “what next?”, and then I’ll either create a new character in that same world but on the other side of the map, and see how far they can get. Still waiting for mods like RV Interiors to be released, as they are holding out until a proper stable beta of B42 is released… so that could be some time. Granted I’ve also been using Week One as a baseline mod for PZ, as it revitalizes the baseline start to be more in line with “how does this apocalypse truly go down?”. Is it perfect, far from it, but it adds just enough plausibility to make you feel immersed even further. As for MP, I’m not a fan at all. I tend to play most all games SP, as I’m a very patient gamer and usually jump onto the MP bandwagon too late to feel included.
I will say that CDDA has piqued my interest, but I’m not a huge fan of turn based anything, although weirdly I will get into some of them. May have to give this a shot myself… once I have time.
I think I’ve been spoiled by the massive modding community with PZ, as I feel there’s always something that’s added that feel right within the game world. Sure, there are plenty of non-lore friendly mods, but stuff like adding all the classic consoles into the loot pile, or real world foods keep the immersion up quite well.
Always gonna recommend Project Zomboid. Yeah it may look like the Sims (which oddly is where TIS got their art influence from), but it’s pretty darn unforgiving. Hell, I lost my last character without realizing how, chalking it up to some strange drug interaction (aka don’t drink and take sleeping pills, kids). Resource management, while not a direct focal point for PZ, is still important as you are watching every aspect of your character’s health and wellbeing.
The latest beta build 42 has incorporated some new mechanics and a nicer lighting system so things feel proper spooky when slinking around in the darkness. And don’t even get me started on the modding community. Infinite possibilities and a constant influx of new content, some which gets so popular it’s adding into the base gameplay. Look up Week One if you want more than just a zed simulator.
I also second Stardew if you are also looking to scratch that cozy gaming itch.
Voidigo is pretty unique I think. Chaotic roguelite with unique and sometimes asinine weaponry. Sure, it can sometimes feel a bit like Enter the Gungeon, but I feel the art style separates it a good bit from that and other top down shooters. Plus the guns and melee can be a bit crazy in their own right.
You are absolutely correct. This is what happens when I comment way too early lol
Solid base just outside West Point proper. A few too many windows and egresses, but glad you were still able to fortify.
BTW, B41 stable or B42 unstable?
ESL (ESP Lite) is a newer file format for mods in the Creation Engine, the whole backend to the game basically. Fallouts 3, NV, 4, 76, and Starfield all run a very heavily modified Gamebryo engine (from back in the Elder Scrolls 3: Morrowind era, ~2001), which over time mutated into the Creation Engine. Previous types were ESM and ESP, and they were locked to a total of 254 individual mods. If you went over the game would most likely crash… speaking of, CTD is crash to desktop. Lastly, DLC is downloadable content, aka usually extra paid stuff to add into the game. That can be perceived as it being good extra content or bad in that the content should have been part of the main game all along.
Now if only ESL support could be backported to FNV/FO3/TTW… 254 mods would be a paltry collection. And it would still CTD.
Oh, little Bobby…
I just heard they’re still on for the movie. That, and it looks like Journey to the Center of Hawkthorne had a relatively recent update.
Not quite, but the goatee may be spreading…

Must moving from the Gamebtyo/Creation Engine to Unreal seems like a huge leap. Wonder how much that’ll affect modding capability or recreating popular mods from the original game.
Kinda sad that this’ll seemingly overshadow the Skyblivion team’s efforts over the past 15 years… Unless they hired some of their team.
There was also Roughnecks, a short lived early CGI series. Was pretty fun for the time, looked a bit better than Reboot iirc. Although, reading up on it, wow it had a shitty production history. Was still fun to watch for kid me.

Also Ninite is still pretty decent for getting most of the good free utilities and software.
