I “love” how we need to keep on studying things that are flat out good for society while bad things just get rolled out without the same onus of proof.

Things that need to be proven over and over and over:

• Universal Basic Income

• Walkable cities prioritising pedestrians, bicyclists, and transit

• Low speed limits for cars

• No-strings housing for homeless

• High taxes for the rich

And the list goes on and on… why do we make it so hard to improve our society while making it so easy to ruin it?

Hi, I think that Lemmy is great thank you for your hard work

I actually think that given the ads and other distorsions, and thanks to federation, Lemmy is overall actually better than reddit!

Some features I miss are:

• tags
• direct messages outside Lemmy (even if not encrypted)
• better rendering of posts on mastodon (something beyond the title only). Not sure what side is responsible for this, tho!

All of these are very high quality, well witten series I watched. A lot of stuff from UK, for some reason

• “Capitani” crime series on Luxemburg well written, quite dark

• Hinterland: crime series in galles Wales

• Briadchurch: this is top notch, in England

• Sherlock Holmes (2010 or so) wow, this eas fantastic, all the seasons. A lot of mistery, logic, suspense

• Luther. Another crime, very well written

• Dark : top notch sci-fi time paradix series, coherent, surprising. Strongly siggested
