Pretty quick? 0-60 in 3.3 and an 11.8 quarter mile is faster than the Dark Horse halo model GT.
So one bot changed another bots mind?
The LFP curve is very flat- you have to charge to 100% once a month to keep it calibrated. Of course it will be fine without, but your range estimate will be even less accurate than normal.

When I’m not yelling at clouds, I like Tsunami Bomb
I used slackware, btw
I launch it and get the changelog pop up. It’s always a fix for little things I’ve noticed. Things I’d never think about otherwise, but I read the bullet points and see how they could happen and it clicks.
Is zfs required for security footage?
I think everything west of Nebraska skews it. Georgia is almost exactly 1000 sq km average. Ohio is 1200, Kentucky 872, Arkansas is 1836.
Wait, their butt is at 60 degrees like a hexagon?!
I want to add one to the upstairs master bedroom, since it’s the only room occupied most of the time. But my unit was a 2006 model so I put those funds towards a variable speed condenser, furnace, and EXV coil. And the wife didn’t want a visible head in the bedroom.
Those multizone systems can get unwieldy on retrofits. Find a good clean installation and chase that installer down.
Multi-stage equipment helps a ton. I hate how people tack mini-splits on their homes like AutoZone hood scoops, but their dehumidifier function is awesome in the shoulder seasons.
The 2nd paragraph is my problem- they can use the public chargers, but the public can’t use theirs. They say they’re opening it up, but it hasn’t happened yet and they’re only doing it because their plan failed.
Here’s a better article on elliptic curves
I had a pair of foxes raise a litter of kits under my garden shed. They were so cute and fun to watch!
Well they left me with fleas. I had to seal off the foundation of the shed, cut holes in the floor, and drop some nasty pesticides (phosgene) under, and seal it back up.
My beef with Rivian is one I shared with Tesla- their chargers are closed to other brands. That’s a mask-off move in my opinion. It’s a business decision, not a technical one.
My experience- the difference is enforcement. In the US anyway, the town isn’t going to tow cars parked illegally in the neighborhood or cite someone for their junked up yard.
The size, performance and comfort are all great. The tech works well enough for me. I wouldn’t call it snappy but it is acceptable. Visibility is good, the rear hatch opens very quickly, seats are comfortable though I miss my cooled/ventilated seats.
The little things I’d change-
The transition from regen to friction brakes at 3mph is not always smooth depending on your driving style. 1 pedal mode makes it seamless but once you feel it, you can’t un-feel it.
Dial gear selector is meh, but way better than the stalk- changed for 2025
Published range is at 55 or 60 mph. I get 2.5 mi/kwh on the interstate keeping up with traffic. In town of course you can double that, but it’s a tiny fraction of my consumption. Not actually an issue in my use case but worth mentioning that the published 280 miles is really 230. And you won’t find a charger at exactly 0% so plan on 200.
No mechanical key for when the 12v dies. Goofy procedure for when it does.
Pointlessly complicated rear door latch.
