  • Revolutionary Vol 2

    Nice!

Interesting information I was able to find on the album:

Revolutionary Vol. 2 is Immortal Technique’s sophomore album, and is a follow-up to his debut album, Revolutionary Vol. 1.

Issues discussed throughout the album include poverty, drug trade, slave labor, censorship, corporate control over the media (including hip hop), the September 11th World Trade Center attacks, racism, the prison industrial complex and class struggle.

The album features political activist Mumia Abu-Jamal, who introduces the album and also provides a speech about hip hop’s relationship to Homeland security.

Immortal Technique claimed in an interview to have sold more than 85,000 copies of the album.

The following images are the album’s liner notes, where Tech candidly contextualises the stories and details of each track.^[[1] https://genius.com/albums/Immortal-technique/Revolutionary-vol-2

    1. The 4th Branch - Written & Arranged by Immortal Technique. Music Produced by Danja (BeatBandits)

The government has 3 branches, Judicial (Supreme Court), Legislative (Congress), and Executive (White House). Operating on a system of checks and balances (that would idealistically force each one to answer to another) supposedly prevents our so called democracy from becoming a totalitarian state in which only one group’s interests are reflected. But if the interests of one group, is slowly becoming the political agenda of the majority of these branches as it is now unbalancing the system, there is a fallback. The news media has the potential to be the voice of the people and provide the public with useful information and a historical reality of the actions of our nation in order to better our democracy. Instead, they have become the rubber stamp of the military and the government. They are now the most useful propaganda machine that the system has, they provide straw-man argument perspectives and very filtered information. Gone are the days of the Watergate exposing press, the integrity of the popular media has been damaged by the reality that leaks through their recycled fear driven reports. They are no longer the voice of the people; they are corporate controlled entities who put profit margins before truth, they are people who write puff pieces on government and business interests instead of vocalizing the criticisms of millions. They are the 4th branch of the government.

  • Nice song!

Many must recognize the beginning beat of Gotye’s “Somebody That I Used To Know”!

Thanks for sharing it with us!

“Anxiety” by Doechii originally came from a 2019 YouTube video, one of her “COVEN MUSIC” songs. “Anxiety” borrows the instrumental for Gotye’s 2011 hit “Somebody That I Used To Know”. The YouTube video was later sampled in 2023 for Sleepy Hallow’s “A N X I E T Y”.

The original YouTube video went viral as an audio on TikTok starting in February 2025, leading to Sleepy Hallow’s release increasing in popularity on streaming. Upon noticing this attention to her video, Doechii decided to re-record and release her full original version to streaming services, teasing it days before release.[1]

  • “We can confirm the reporting that Chang Guang Satellite Technology Company Limited is directly supporting Iran-backed Houthi terrorist attacks on U.S. interests,” State Department spokesperson Tammy Bruce told a regular news briefing.

I wonder if they got this information from the same people that said Kilmar Armando Abrego Garcia is MS-13 and Mahmoud Khalil is Hamas.

Iran, Russia, and China are all a part of BRICS and conduct military drills together. It would be better if our government learned some diplomacy and stopped our decades of aggression.

Col. Douglas Abbott Macgregor talks about Iran, China, and Russia.[1]

    Edit:

    1. Misspelled name, changed Col. Douglas MacGregor to Col. Douglas Abbott Macgregor

  • Foreign policy is tied to the decline of the American Empire.

Spending trillions of dollars on foreign wars, military budgets, and governments has a direct impact on domestic issues.

Again, the owner class (oligarchy) funds (bribes) our politicians to support the funding of more forever wars.

The world is becoming a multipolar world due to the rise of China and other countries. BRICS is an organization that promotes trade within these upcoming countries.

We must stop being the aggressor and start diplomacy.

    common Russian propaganda.

    Reply:

    1. These views are not only brought out due to being brainwashed or bought by Russia, China, Iran, Hamas, Code Pink, and other boogeymen.
    1. We just came to the same conclusion: that these forever wars are not helping the everyday person in the United States; in fact, they do the opposite.

What is Ukraine’s military ambition? In your world? What behavior by them would cause Russia to stop killing their citizens and taking their land?

Ukraine is just, sadly, another pawn of US aggression in trying to contain and regime change Russia.[1]

NATO, our European military aggression organization for now—Trump might change that, surprisingly.

Ukraine could have negotiated a peace treaty, like the one brought up in 2022, until Boris Johnson and the US interfered.

Now, it will be much harder to get that deal back.

Sounds good. If I just listed out a little handful of direct questions, would you be open to the idea of giving some direct answers to them instead of wandering off on a tangent about how I must have been inspired by Tom Cotton or AIPAC?,

It is all connected: our politicians, lobbying (legal bribes, donations), our foreign policy, and our declining American Empire.

AIPAC and Tom Cotton are pushing for more foreign funding and forever wars.

direct questions, would you be open to the idea of giving some direct answers

    I can try!

  • I feel like we’re operating on two separate wavelengths here.

    Yes, sorry.

I was trying to keep the discussion focused on what was mentioned in the interview while answering your questions.

I try to keep it in simple terms.

Many of the working class are struggling, and groups like Code Pink are just one group that tries to show what the majority of people feel.

Which is questioning the politicians on their voting record and trying to stop the funding of foreign military budgets that cause mass slaughter.

These views are not only brought out due to being brainwashed or bought by Russia, China, Iran, Hamas, Code Pink, and other boogeymen.

We just came to the same conclusion: that these forever wars are not helping the everyday person in the United States; in fact, they do the opposite.

AIPAC and Israel are not helping the United States; they are just buying our politicians and getting us to fight their wars in the Middle East.

Then AIPAC and Israel, and their paid politicians, smear (example of being labeled an antisemite; the video discusses this) anyone who is not pro-war and for their campaign of slaughtering civilians.

New polling shows that the majority of people now see Israel in a negative light, especially those between the ages of 18 and 49.[1]

Again, the majority of people want peace and ceasefires in Gaza and Ukraine, not a continuation of funding foreign governments and their military ambitions.

Sorry for failing to communicate in the way you wanted to; I will continue to try and learn!

  • I thought you wanted a substantive discussion? If you wanted to just say “watch the video” then I didn’t need to type all of that.

We can’t have a substantive discussion if you don’t know what they discussed and what views National Co-Director of Code Pink Briahna expressed.

    Ah, you read the transcripts!

    open propaganda

    https://medium.com/muros-invisibles/code-pink-and-the-politics-of-privilege-475234e4490f

You label the video as open propaganda while posting a propaganda smear piece against Code Pink. The article does not speak to or question anyone from the organization; they just continue to spew government and US military talking points.

    sending any weapons to Ukraine

    pro-China

I do feel like their solutions are kind of lackluster

This just seems kind of laughable

    aligned perfectly with Russia

The populace in the United States is for peace, and they want a ceasefire in Gaza and in Ukraine.

There is a reason why they did not vote for a continuation of Biden/Harris, due to the status quo of funding and arming foreign countries.

Trump’s pseudo-populist views of wanting to end the wars and stopping the funding of foreign nations are what the people were looking for.

Code Pink is a reaction to the populist views of the people in the United States.

Which is why they continue to confront so many politicians and question them on their actions of siding with foreign nations instead of helping the people in the United States.

Confronting these politicians helps them show what these politicians continue to vote for, the status quo, educating and inspiring people to join in on the movement; they want to build a working-class movement, since the majority of the populace is against war and for peace and a ceasefire.

  • It’s a YouTube thumbnail with Epstein, Whitney Webb, and Diddy.

The Sabby Sabs editor that created it would know much more about why they created it a certain way, like the many other thumbnails in her other videos.

I provided a direct link to the article, which is a 70-min read.

Sabby Sabs goes over some sections she thinks are important.

Clive Davis is important in that Diddy learned everything from him because they were used against Diddy, and then Diddy did that to other young artists.

Sabby goes into the artists were pushed to promote violence in their music so as to increase mass incarceration, which the companies were highly invested in for-profit prisons.

Anyway, it ties back to the rampant organized crime within the music industry (shell companies), and a certain alphabet agency of the government is involved in spreading drugs and guns in Black communities.

Combs, from the early 1990s onward, appears to have been a key frontman for this network and its ambitions. He was likely not the sole mastermind or beneficiary of all of the scandalous parties, sexual violence, public promotion of violence, and alleged blackmail in which he engaged. He was a product of a network and a system that –– in the case of Combs –– was seeking to target and corrupt the broader African-American community in similar ways. Ultimately, Combs, like some other prominent entertainers, was servile to his music industry masters. He worked within a system those masters controlled and attempted to expand his own influence and power within that system, but –– at the end of the day –– he was never in charge.

In the next installment of this series, we will explore Combs’ expanding influence in hip-hop and also in other industries, like retail, again all courtesy of the very same network outlined in this piece. While Combs publicly projected power and success, both of those things were conditional and, like Epstein, now exposed, he is due to take the fall in order to take the heat off of the people behind the curtain.[1]

  • Awesome; thanks for sharing the video with us!

I want to see Prof. John Mearsheimer and Prof. Jeffrey Sachs have discussions on these topics to see where they agree and disagree.

    Generated Summary below:

Title: Prof John Mearsheimer: Trade Tensions Explode Trump V. China [53:41 | APR 09 2025 |Daniel Davis / Deep Dive]

    Video Description:

    Trump’s Tariff Response:

Trump imposed 104% tariffs on China, emphasizing his strategy of retaliating aggressively when challenged.

He believes China wants to make a deal but doesn’t know how to start negotiations.

Trump is open to negotiations and claims he will be “gracious” if China reaches out.

    China’s Reaction:

In response, China imposed 84% tariffs on the U.S., signaling they will not be intimidated and are ready to push back hard.

    Expert Commentary (Prof. John Mearsheimer):

China and other nations (Russia, Iran, North Korea) understand Trump only respects toughness.

The current situation is a classic case of hardball diplomacy, with both sides posturing strongly.

    Strategic View:

Trump sees short-term economic pain as necessary for long-term gain:

Absolute gain: Rebuilding U.S. manufacturing will benefit America economically.

Relative gain: China will be hurt more, shifting the power balance in favor of the U.S.

    Skepticism from Economists:

Most economists see these tariffs as a “boneheaded” move, likely to hurt the global economy and disrupt trade without clear benefits.

    Long-Term Uncertainty:

The true effects of these tariffs are unpredictable, similar to how sanctions on Russia didn’t have the intended effect.

    Diplomatic Repercussions:

Trump’s aggressive, transactional approach undermines trust in U.S. reliability as a partner.

Allies in East and Southeast Asia (e.g., South Korea, Vietnam) may begin to reassess their ties with the U.S.

    Vietnam Case Study:

Vietnam, heavily reliant on U.S. trade, is panicked by the tariffs despite being eager to cooperate.

Damaging economic ties with Vietnam may also undermine important security alliances in the region.

    John Bolton’s View:

Bolton criticizes Trump for eroding decades of international trust and says this creates an opening for China.

The issue isn’t just economic—it’s about the U.S. losing its reputation as a reliable global leader.

    Final Thoughts:

The consensus is that while Trump’s approach may yield some leverage, the cost to U.S. credibility and alliances could be profound and lasting.

    Generated Summary:

This YouTube video features a discussion with Professor John Mearsheimer about the escalating trade tensions between the US and China under the Trump administration, along with broader implications for international relations and trust.

Main Topic: US-China trade war and its global implications.

    Key Points:

    • Trump’s Trade Strategy: Trump’s approach is characterized by aggressive retaliation (tariffs) and a belief that China wants a deal but doesn’t know how to initiate it. He aims to bring manufacturing back to the US.
    • China’s Response: China is playing hardball and retaliating with its own tariffs, signaling they won’t be pushed around.
    • Absolute vs. Relative Gains: Mearsheimer explains Trump’s strategy in terms of absolute gains (improving the US economy independently) and relative gains (gaining a power advantage over China). Trump believes the US will benefit in the long term, even with short-term economic pain.
    • Economic Consequences: Economists largely disagree with Trump’s policies, predicting negative economic consequences. The speaker highlights the difficulty in predicting the long-term effects of fundamentally changing trade relationships.
    • Loss of Trust: Trump’s approach is damaging US credibility and reliability as a partner, not just with adversaries but also with allies. This creates opportunities for China to build stronger relationships.
    • Impact on Allies: Allies like South Korea and Vietnam, who rely on the US for security and trade, may reconsider their relationships and move closer to China.
    • BRICS Advantage: The trade war could boost the BRICS nations as countries seek alternative economic partnerships.
    • No Backing Down: Neither the US nor China is backing down, leading to increased prices for US consumers and negative impacts on US businesses operating in China.
    • Europe’s Position: The US is alienating Europe through both the Ukraine war and tariffs, potentially pushing them closer to China for trade.
    • Lack of Checks on Power: Trump faces few constraints on his power, allowing him to implement these policies without significant consultation or oversight.
    • Russia-Ukraine War: The discussion touches on the Russia-Ukraine war, suggesting that a perceived failure to achieve a resolution could damage Trump’s image.
    • Potential War with Iran: The possibility of a war with Iran is raised, which could have severe consequences for the global economy.
    • Trump’s Decision-Making: Trump is criticized for not respecting expertise and appointing unqualified individuals to key positions.
    • Israeli Influence: Israel is putting pressure on Trump to take action against Iran, potentially leading to a conflict that is not in the US’s best interest.

    Highlights:

    • The analysis of Trump’s trade strategy through the lens of absolute and relative gains.
    • The emphasis on the erosion of trust in the US as a reliable partner and the potential long-term consequences.
    • The discussion of how the trade war and other policies could inadvertently strengthen China’s position and international cooperation among other nations.
    • The concern over the potential for a war with Iran and the influence of Israel on US foreign policy.
    • The observation that Trump operates without checks on his power, making it difficult to reverse course.
