Aside from finding it annoying, QR code menus effectively prevent some people from viewing the menu.

Think about the requirements to view the menu. You must have a smartphone and a cellular data plan. People that aren’t well off may skip on those in order to purchase things that are more important, like food. I guess I could understand if it was just fancy/expensive restaurants doing this, but I’m seeing it all over.

It’s a similar issue to businesses that are cashless. You’re effectively barring people who can’t/don’t have a bank account or credit card from paying. Both of which are notoriously hard to get if you’re homeless.

Oh, I do both. My whole point was to avoid partitioning one physical disk to install both OSes on.

My current setup:

-Windows 11 installed on one NVMe. This is only for playing games that absolutely won’t work any other way.

-Pop OS on another NVMe. This is my main OS.

-Windows 11 VM in VirtualBox for work stuff and normal applications (Adobe…)

Proc is a Ryzen 5 9600x. Machine currently has 64gb DDR5 RAM at 5200mhz.

That’s effectively the same as what I described, is it not? The only difference is you’re using GRUB to choose what to boot into. It’s still a two disk setup with Windows separate from the Linux disk.

Can’t say I would recommend dual booting both OSes off the same drive. Windows causes too many problems. Put Windows on an entirely separate drive instead and boot to it by changing the boot device in the BIOS.

Everyone makes mistakes. I know I certainly do. I probably made a few in this comment. It was probably a mistake to even type this comment out, but I just wanted to point this all out.

I did miss that when reading the article, but I still stick to my argument that the top speed is too low. Even in the downtown area of my city people drive 45+.

Pinch flats are way more likely when running low tire pressure off road. That does not happen with tubeless setups.

Used workstations are great for home theater purposes. I’ve got a Dell SFF on one TV and a Lenovo 1L machine on another.

I use a Sony RX100m4 and a Lumix GX1, depending on what I have in mind. Sometimes it just depends on which backpack I bring. Both are great cameras for hiking.

It’s nice to see that the tank controls are optional and that they have improved the camera.

I’m not entirely sure the consideration of tires as a pollutant is necessarily a right wing argument. It may be coming from the angle of public transit and distaste for cars.
