One of the mistakes Germans (+ occupying forces) and the Austrians made after WW II was pardoning / “washing clean” Nazis after the war. Eg. the Austrian far right party FPÖ was founded by an SS member, and I’d be surprised if the AfD didn’t have Nazis in its family tree as well.
People who support fascism can’t be rehabilitated, except for a tiny minority.
Seems like a run of the mill liberal whose information about “the left” comes from far right talking points:
But there is a problem with the way in which discussion about family values and having babies is split into two extreme camps – the trad-wife Right and the “abolish the family” Left. For any young couple starting out, the choices seem to be to either raise your non-binary child in defiance of the nuclear family, or to go full homestead and demand that your wife wear gingham and churn her own butter amongst a multitude of children.
Like, what the fuck is this shit?
The discussion about “family values” might seem like this if you only listen to what conservatives are claiming about what “the left” wants.
the administration has left the federal government with no way of understanding if policies are working
That’s a feature, not a bug: the entire point is to make it very hard to see the effects of the regime’s policies, so that they can just claim everything is working as intended and the rest of the world won’t be able to verify it.
Russia has been doing the same for years (well, decades really). They fixed their HIV epidemic by stopping the collection of data on infections
edit: ah, and the article says as much. That’ll teach me to comment before reading
Is there a yoga community? They might be into this sort of stuff too
Third, try to enjoy your life.
The irony
lol no he wasn’t, that was never ever going to happen
Different use cases
Like every conservative, he just hates that people have empathy for anybody but them
The USA has the best judicial system money can buy
Yeah a friend of mine accidentally walked into the crossfire of what turned out to be a nearly 10-year-long beef between two badly medicated bipolar people that had reached some pretty fantastic and frankly scary proportions. Stalking and harrassing the shit out of each other, or the other’s employers, friends, acquaintances, random people who just happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time, etc. etc. Justice system’s been involved multiple times.

As another recovering IT professional: ain’t nothing incredible about that.
I’d rather starve than work in IT again.

Unfortunately for all of us, all you have to do is look at history and you’ll see that a lot of people do want to – especially without consent
I didn’t mean that they never called it a “chatbot”, but that they treat it like a regular meatbag source, more or less.
But yeah, maybe take a break, you’ve clearly decided to be ANGY about this for some reason.
That’s… reassuring.
This reminds me of that scene from Fight Club:
“Which bank do you work for?”
“A major one”
Same here, and pretty notably I keep getting more left wing instead of more conservative and the same’s been happening to my friends too, so even the idea that you automatically get more conservative as you age is pretty suspect.
Shit, right now in Finland the under 25’s are more conservative than Millennials, at least based on voting patterns
But that’s the thing: Nazis weren’t really even displaced, and many kept their jobs in eg. the judiciary because they were seen as indispensable. The failure of denazification was on display especially egregiously in Austria, where you’d have people openly wearing Nazi uniforms years after the war, and they concoted the idea that they were all just unwilling victims of Nazism instead of enthusiastic participants.
