progress is when the colors on the teevee change on election night

i’m fucking livid, this shit better swing the other way or i swear to god. a lot of people voting “yes” on the “please grope my daughters” bill.
why the fuck is this even on the ballot.

I’ve been saying this for a while, as fun as it is to rag on the ai slop, the fact of the matter is, ai has gotten really really good at a number of things. scary things like autonomously building or hacking software, and scanning vast troves of data to identify trends/anomalies/targets.
the question we must ask is if the revolution can beat out the state’s ability to operationalize this tool against us. it’s not a question of if, it’s a question of when.

here’s how the tokenmaxxers do it:
“ok claude, spin up 10 parallel frontier models to each convert this docx to a pdf file. they must then work together to converge on the highest quality output that they can synthesize from their individual outputs. when they are done, spin up 3 frontier models that serve as an adversarial review board to review their final pdf. for any revisions, repeat from the beginning with the 10 models in parallel performing the changes. do not stop until the review board unanimously favors the result”
most expensive pdf in the world.

the year is 2042, Emperor-God-King Trump has secured the Final Deal to open the Strait of Trump’s America (previously known as the Strait of Hormuz). Congress has rubber stamped the $30 Trillion deal to begin removing the pile of super tankers that now physically prevent passage through the strait.
Universal healthcare remains an impossible dream.

capital needs them to run the money printing machines

kinda flies in the face of the whole “the straight is open” rhetoric

that bending/warping of the video is fairly common in drone shots, especially on a tight zoom. it’s caused by vibration in the frame and the rolling shutter of the camera. could still be fake, but there is an explanation at least

this would very likely kill the next gen of game consoles, possible all future gens as well.
grok is this real
