The preview movie was fantastic. I’m wondering if they’re going to use any of the backstory animation from the movie, or if they are going to leave that as a purely movie thing. I’m excited to see what people think about Nyaan, cause the takeaway both my wife and I had was that
she acts like a complete poser, and it seems like that might be her character’s arc ::: .
Communism can never succeed until it has trading cards of local exemplary workers.
Unsweetend shreaded wheat is the only good cereal imo (besides wheatabix but those are real expensive here). Cheap as dirt and tastes fine with one ingredient, wheat.
Na but if you play it let me know if it’s good. I’ve been interested in it.
I think it is important to seperate the two ideas you’re referencing. Testing purity requires different techniques than concentration testing.
You could theoretically estimate the purity of your compound of interest if you had a fairly good idea of what the impurities were. Spectroscopic techniques are generally used for identification of the impurity causing compounds and not for purity testing.
On the specific device you mentioned: I don’t believe that device would be useful/sufficient for two reasons. Firstly, like most inexpensive/small spectrometers, the spectrometer linked is a visible light spectrometer. Visible light spectroscopy is not very useful for organic compounds as organic compounds don’t tend to absorb in the visible region (which is why your feedstock is a white powder). This would be the primary limiting factor in regards to concentration testing. The other problem with that kind of device is the limited wavelength resolution which would make it rather difficult to identify impurities.
If you wanted to get a good idea of the impurities of a feed stock, the best options would be GCMS or HPLC. HPLC would probably be the better of the two for a small scale chemical operation, given that it doesn’t need a constant supply of pure gas like GCMS.
Administration techniques are your best friend here. You must be converting your feedstock into an oraly administered drug. If you don’t have the equipment and/or supply chain information to ensure what you are putting in your body doesn’t contain harmful side products, you absolutely must use your body’s natural filtration system to protect yourself.
Without reading a lot more and having a good idea of how the feedstocks are synthesized, I wouldn’t feel comfortable administering these compounds without some kind of atomic absorption spectroscopy to look for heavy metal reminants from the synthesis process. It is entirely possible that the methods used to synthesize these compounds don’t ever use possibly toxic compounds, but I don’t know and cannot say.
I know, it’s me, I’m the 75%.
Ah, that makes sense.
How the fuck do you steal 100k eggs
Na this shit is so real. Why the hell is it ok for people to just tell you about what they think you should do whenever it’s about body weight. Bro, we aren’t talking about that.
I was going to write the exact same thing. Safety razor has saved me a lot of money.
Prisoner’s dilemma situation, you both go to jail and are hospitalized. Make sure one of you goes down.
It’s my understanding that they still are limited to repeated tasks, but honestly, that is more than good enough. 10 slow robots doing the job of one guy in a menial assembly job is a worthwhile improvement, just so that person doesn’t get carpal tunnel.
I’ve run some events (science night) for kids like this and tbh it’s fun to have adults interested because you can talk to them more. Interested adults learn more and it can be really fun to talk to them and answer questions.
Na, they have a lot of other potential uses.
Quantum computers have so much potential for really useful stuff. I’m excited to see if they manage to get them to their promise within my lifetime.
They basically never pay out tip money if full. Even if you nail the guy with your tip, and he gets convicted, they always find a way that your tip was on 80% helpful or some shit.
Those are pretty cool. I will remember these and tell everyone I know. Thanks.
I reread this and it may not be clear that I’m not being sarcastic.
Tbh it might be easier to have an account and limit what you see directly.
If you’re using a web browser, I’ve had good success with leechblock. I like that I can still access the sites if I’m bored but they’re otherwise inaccessable.
Damn, I wanna work at Tsinghua. I’d happily be a spy or whatever for the chinese government if I got to work there.
