  • I’m sure your friends mean well, but they shouldn’t be trying to apply their own standards to your relationship. All that matters is whether your husband will enjoy it. If you think he will, then it’s all good. But if doing something like this isn’t something you’ve ever discussed with him before, then you may want to prepare for how you will handle things if it turns out he doesn’t like it.

    If you haven’t already, you should talk to your friend about getting the originals/any copies he may have. What you definitely don’t want is for your friend to use the photos in ways you didn’t agree to if he thinks the photos belong to him. Don’t know your circumstances, but I’ve heard it’s common for photographers who do free photo shoots to maintain ownership of the photos as a form of payment.



  • Maybe it’s just me, but this feels like a double standard.

    Let’s say I create a community that allows male and female content. But a lot of users join the community who dislike male content and consistently downvote it as a way to discourage it, then those downvoters are the ones trying to change the community. To me, it is the downvoters who are trying to, in a sense, hijack the community and make it something it wasn’t intended to be.
