Often it’s more fun to imagine than to actually find out. Especially when the show is remade without several major characters who are too famous to bother returning, or dead, or in jail for something nobody wants to talk about.

You literally never hear “America scientists” even if some of them might be from another country. Same with every single other country I can think of, except China.
If it could be done well I’d be over the moon, but there’s not a chance in hell.
The last reboot was busy trying to be Black Mirror. The best episode for me was the one with Rhys Darby because it went back to the Monster of the Week formula that just works.
Your assertion that Apple, Microsoft, and Android are all unpopular with everyone seems like it might actually be a personal opinion rather than a fact.
I know people who enjoy all of those.
If you’re breaking the law then you forfeit your rights in favor of some much more restrictive ones.
Then I think the solution is clear for you, and that’s ok.
Nah, let people discuss it. If you don’t want to ruin the race result then don’t open the app that tells you race results.
The fake commentary added after the fact to perfectly fit the episode’s narrative is lame. The use of reactions that are clearly to other events than those shown in the shot before is crap. F1 is interesting without all the fakery, and DTS just can’t help itself.
I found that for the last few seasons I just had more and more complaints about the fake drama, so this time I just didn’t watch it.
Most people (including me) are not from the US. :-)
And the Apollo 11 moon landing, and the Olympics, and the world cup finals…
Everyone else in the comments understood the assignment just fine.
I really enjoyed Scavenger’s Reign. Never heard of Pantheon, but if you mention both in the same sentence I’m intrigued!
Edit: It was already on my watchlist
The UK one was fantastic. Did you see both and then pick the US one specifically, or is it the only one you saw? I haven’t seen the US one, but I’m interested now!
“most of the surrounding villages”
For every person switching from Windows to Linux, how many people got a new Chromebook or a Mac, or just do everything on their phones or a tablet?
I have a Linux machine myself, and I love having it, but I don’t think the user base is growing particularly quickly as a percentage of PC OS installations.
Right after Linux on desktop takes off, which is sure to happen any day now.
Crazy that with all the work they were doing they still had to close down. Good luck to the employees in finding new jobs!
Ah, I know what that’s like! :-D
Tell that to the people who were working on it and will now get laid off instead.
