im pretty sure its the other way around; If they hold out for 1 more month, they have to have a special election. If they don’t hold out for a month, the governor (who is a democrat) gets to appoint someone.

1·3 months agopassword managers in the browser still store them encrypted. They usually authenticate via a passkey, in-built security in the OS like windows hello, or through other services such as SSO through google; That said, if you have them on auto-pilot with this authentication, anyone with access to the device can theoretically access them, though to actually view them in the password manager they usually require you to authenticate.
Browser password managers are sorta less secure than a third party one, assuming you turn on all the convenience features to make your life easier, but a lot of third-party password managers have the same convenience features a lot of the time anyways.

1·3 months agoSaving the password in your browser is using a password manager; you’re just using the one built into your browser. The safety and security of using any individual password manager is pretty much up to how secure that particular password manager is, but generally speaking they all store passwords encrypted.
Ones built into a browser have the added attack vector of being potentially vulnerable from the browser itself vs a stand alone manager, but if you use a plugin for your favorite password manager they likely share a pretty similar attack vector possibility.
Either way, using a password manager is infinitely better than reusing passwords, so this is really just a long winded way of saying “no, not really”.
Dedicated password managers usually come with more security, control, and features, but you’re generally going to be fine using the one built into your browser.

6·11 months agoAs a DM, thinking on your toes has been invaluable. The ability to come up with ideas, explanations, and more on the fly has helped a lot at work in meetings when unexpected things come up.
Ice/crystal golems. Crystal structures are very regular/organized and I would argue quite lawful.

6·1 year agoYeah, no idea. And the statement is pretty just a bunch of marketing speaking and no real plans. So we’ll see, I guess
Yeah, but its still using rebuilt HD assets which make it look way better than the original game its based off of.
That’s the HD remaster that came out like 10 years ago. They most certainly did not make that on windows 98.

rpg@ttrpg.network•Is miniature acrylic paint different from regular acrylic paint? And other paint Q's
4·1 year agosince youve mostly gotten your answers on the basic questions, i will add some other information here for you as FYI. If you’re wondering, you can use regular old acrylic hobby paints for miniatures. It’s going to take some extra work and a lot of mixing to get it the right consistency and will be a learning curve there.
If you’re wondering if it’s worth the money to spend on mini paints, that’s going to be entirely up to your preference. Mini paints can be quite pricey vs regular old craft store paints. I would maybe suggest dabbling with regular paints and getting some thinner medium and see if mixing them works out well for you. If you find it too annoying/frustrating/not worth your time then get mini paints. Mini paints can basically be used right out of the bottle.
i’ve never played it; How does the system work? is it a traditional d20-like system or something else?

i dont believe ive ever seen that information collated like that; That said, most CoC scenarios are relatively independent of timeframe, with the exception of the ones that take place around certain historical events. Most CoC scenarios can probably be easily run in any time from around 1900-1940 with very little changes/modifications.
