I don’t have any specific memories of the early internet but I do remember DOS on the family computer. Having to remember the paths to run the shareware programs we wanted to run on a floppy

Good image terrible title. Body count gives me the ick

That’s what I said. 2000 too few

As a Twin Cities resident we are surprisingly radically progressive. I think it’s important to know how much “work” people did post George Floyd to look at racial bias and systematic change in progressive socials. I know of multiple book clubs of retirees reading books on anti-racism and white privilege. It was eye opening experience here

I think about that all the time. Especially when people online are like “do something”. We are doing something. Lots of things. Lots of small decentralized things so they can’t be targeted as easy.

I had a cheaper folding one in the pandemic and rode it until it broke. It was the pedals as well. I figured this was less BIFL but wanted to see if there was a suggestion
I have much better exercise routines when it’s warm outside like running and gardening but need something when it’s cold or wet. We bought a cheap folding bike in the pandemic that we used to death. So we need something useful in the winter or I can use to get my heart rate up for 30 minutes while she naps. I can’t (won’t) run in the winter

I have some friends with rowers. Might get one of those instead of a bike
I am thinking I might need to get it from Facebook marketplace. Seems more annoying but the best deal

I do like having a higher quality machine that lasts but don’t know if I can justify over 1000 for something. If I can get it used I will get one
Good to know. I don’t care about displays or Bluetooth more about the body. Seems like a bad deal even if it’s cheap.
Any better recommendations?
I am on paternity leave now and I love it. If my wife was making 12 million I would never go back.
That’s how distributed systems work. Easier to take down one but harder to take them all down
Just buy them as plants instead of seeds. I love https://www.prairiemoon.com/

I’ve seen pho stock at the Asian grocery by my house and have been tempted. I might try it out. I have resisted making my own stock forever. It’s the storage for me really.
It’s good to see what is out there. Helps you get used to different views and let’s you keep using the verse if an instance goes down
As mention the admin is fighting scrapers which is blocking some larger instances. I still have an account
It’s good to have options and try out different clients to see what you like best
I have moved two computers from Windows into Mint this year. One worked without any issues. One had a strange WiFi problem with a super old wifi chip but I bought an adaptor for less than $20 that fixed it. Both computers connect to my printer better than with Windows. Which was a present surprise.
