  • Nightmare Blunt Rotation. These are Biden officials who were interviewed in the studio of the Israel news show.

Tom Neides, Jack Lew, Amos Hochstein, Dan Shapiro, Ilan Goldenberg, Jake Sullivan, John Kirby

The 2 others Biden official who are interviewed but not in this screenshot are Roger Carstens and Stacy Gilbert. 7 + 2 = 9

I watched the hour long video. It was half english, half hebrew. I skipped some parts. A lot of what the Biden officials said was something like “We gave unlimited weapons to Israel, I am shocked that Netanyahu chose to side with Trump over Biden” (paraphrasing). It feels like the whole news segment was made to say that Biden’s administration is more genocidal, to appeal to Zionists.

  • To think that a country can rely on it’s own internal economy is the foolish mistake that Trump is making. China is not foolish in this way. They know that the growth of their economy is accomplished by trade with other countries. Trading with the US was very useful for the growth of China’s economy. When China reduces trade with the US, they will increase trade with other countries to compensate, not rely on internal economy.

This is possibly why China is doing One Belt One Road, because they want to create more trading partners. Which is why I think it is misleading to compare their internal economy with their international trade.

  • The things that Trump says are contradicting. On Friday, he said that he talked with Xi to reduce tariffs. Yesterday he said again that tariffs would replace income tax. He can’t both remove tariffs and use tariffs to replace income tax.

He also has said that tariffs were intended to bring manufacturing jobs back to the US. If manufacturing is brought back to the US, (which is very unlikely) then he can’t fund the government through tariffs because then more products would be sourced domestically.

I don’t think Trump’s action can be explained rationally. It’s kind-of too late for it all to be a bluff. Even if he lies now and claims there is a deal, the damage is already done. Imports from China have already been slowed. If he gets no concessions from China, then the US economy took a massive hit for no reason and I’m not sure that people will believe that.

  • The whole Weird Weekends series from 1999 is pretty good. Episode 3 is about pornstars, part of it is about a heterosexual man who stars in gay porn as a job, they call it “gay for pay”.

In 2007, he made a documentary about the Westboro Baptist Church. This is a church which is infamous for picketing the funerals of US soldiers and saying that claiming that god kills US soldiers because the US supports homosexuality.

Another 2007, he made a documentary about bourgies gambling in Las Vegas. There’s a guy who owns a mattress company and he goes to Vegas and feeds all of his profits into slot machines.

In 2011, he made a 2 part documentary about a “megajail” in Miami. In the US, a jail is different than a prison, in that a jail is a place where suspected criminals are held before trial and a prison is a place. It’s a massive facility of people who have been charged but not convicted. Louis interviews the inmates.

In 2015, Louis made a documentary about transgender kids. He interviews children with gender dysphoria in California who are receiving gender affirming care and also interviews some transgender adults. The movie shows transgender people positively.

In 2016, he made a documentary about severe alcoholics in the UK.

In 2022, he made a documentary about internet neo-nazis which featured Nick Fuentes and Baked Alaska.

These are a few that I have watched which were pretty good. I’m not sure about a favorite. He’s made dozens. What I like about his documentary style is he mostly asks people questions and let’s people speak for themselves.

  • Louis Theroux previously made a documentary about the West Bank in 2011 titled “Louis Theroux: The Ultra Zionists”.

There is a certain style to Louis Theroux documentaries. The documentaries are often about people who are very bad and Louis always presents himself as a neutral observer to the people that he interviews.

You may not learn anything new from this documentary. This documentary will however, have quite a large audience. It is being aired on the BBC public television.

In this documentary he travels around the West Bank and is harassed by multiple different IOF militants, they even point guns at Louis. The documentary shows the audience that the IOF and Israeli settlers are very bad people.

I’ve watched many Louis Theroux movies and I’ve enjoyed many of them a lot.

  • I did not say that income tax in the US will lead to communism.

Both posts by Wizard say that income tax of laborers is never justifiable. “no amount of hand waving about how the government needs to take workers at the point of labor will make it true”.

I mention Marx talking about progressive income tax, as an example of how income tax is not only justified by Communist Theorists but also beneficial to the working class.

A progressive tax is a tax where wealthier people pay a higher percentage of taxes than poorer people. A regressive tax is a tax where wealthier people pay a lower percentage of taxes than poorer people. Income tax in the US is a progressive tax. Relying on tariffs to fund the government would be a regressive tax. Trump wants to replace a progressive tax with a regressive tax.

A progressive tax is good because it makes it harder for capitalists to accumulate wealth. Trump wants to eliminate income tax because it is a progressive tax and he is a capitalist.

The trickery of Trump in this situtation is not that “he doesn’t want to eliminate income tax”. The trickery is that he is saying he only wants to eliminate income tax for people earning less than $200k, but in reality, he wants to eliminate all income tax, including for people making over $200k. Then he wants to replace income tax with a new tax (tariffs) which taxes working people at a higher percentage than capitalists.

  • A heavy progressive tax is explicitly one of the things that Marx calls for in the Communist Manifesto as a prerequisite for the conditions needed for developing a Communist revolution. Countries which are run by Communist parties have income tax. What you are saying is historically incorrect and nonsensical.

Trump is also not calling for the end of taxation of working people. Read the article. Read the article. He says that he wants to shift the tax burden. He wants to tax the working class for things that they buy. Working class people will be paying more taxes overall. He believes in some absurd concept called the External Revenue Service where he believes that he can tax labor outside of the US.

  • This is not the first time he has said this. He was saying this since before he was elected if I recall correctly.

His plan is not getting rid of taxes. His plan is shifting taxes from income tax to sales taxes (tariffs). His plan is to further shift the tax burden onto working people. Corporation owners will offload their tax burden by including the cost of the sales taxes into the cost of the product. It will be even more difficult to tax capitalists.

This could lead to complete government collapse.

Income tax is not a bad thing. You should be getting services in return for the taxes that you pay.
