This is beautiful

Everything about this is fascinating to me. A mother and son spend 5 years and apparently just $200 to make an animated film. The animation is terrible. It predictably flops. But after about a week in theaters it goes insanely viral and all of a sudden it’s now the most profitable relative to budget box office of all time.

Based on comments I’ve seen from people that have seen it, it’s a so bad it’s good type of movie, but some people actually did enjoy parts of the story and the music.

Oh right. It’s been a while since I saw it, my brain just slotted it in 3D CG. Must have been a cool experience to see the puppets in real life.
