@MicroWave Granted, I live in New Jersey, so this doesn’t affect me. But what about for those of us who don’t drive? I, for example, am totally blind. Why should those of us without cars have to pay for renovations that we don’t need? What about people who don’t own or want these cars, and who don’t have any friends who do? It says for new residential buildings, but then, it talks about multi-family ones, so I’m assuming that existing homes would require them as well.
@capital @sugar_in_your_tea I’m entering a conversation without reading the other posts, so I apologise. I just want to say that I deeply admire your approach. It is mine as well. I will begin a discussion with a view that I hold, but if someone is able to prove me wrong, I will admit it and thank him. And if my sources should be used to prove his point, then either I didn’t read well enough or it’s simply a line of thought that I hadn’t considered. But I love civil discussions without wasting time on personal attacks and whatnot, and it seems you’re the same way.

@fmstrat @FrostyTrichs My problem with both Reddit and Lemmy is that they don’t let people delete their posts entirely. I liked Reddit until I learned this. It’s a basic feature that I don’t understand not including.
@WeirdWriter @thatblindsquatch Thank you. This looks quite interesting
@thatblindsquatch I am trying to figure this out as well. I am using Friendica. When I check the url, it says I’m still in my instance, friendca.world. I se the posts from this group, but I don’t know how to write my own post or boost ones that I like. There is a “like” option, but I’m not sure that’s the same thing. I am very new to this, having come to Friendica when I learned that Facebook was discontinueing their Basic Mobile site.
