The following is a bit on the nose
Also, don’t knock the A Line. My wife has one. She doesn’t ride it as much as I ride my C but we throw them in the trunk and ride on scenic trails in the area. I take it whenever my C Line is out of commission and it’s pretty nice still because it’s lighter than my C Line by maybe 5 lbs. It doesn’t sound like a lot but when you’re carrying it, you will feel the difference.
I don’t regret it. I really enjoy it. I’ve always wanted to be a road bicyclist, but being Asian and of shorter stature, it never really felt comfortable to buy a road bike. Maybe road bikes just aren’t comfortable for anybody and I’m overthinking it. But I felt at ease on a Brompton.
The smaller wheels do make it much more maneuverable than a standard bike and I can easily weave through cars that are sitting at a light but of course it’s pretty dangerous. And I can take the bike easily onto trains and public transit without taking much space.
Lugging it up a flight of stairs with my work bag can be a bit taxing, but I see it as exercise and mostly only do it when the escalators/elevators are out of service.
I have a C Line. It’s 8-10 lbs heavier and it hauls a 15-20 lb work bag. It was a stretch to buy that bike. So like you, the only way I’m buying this one is if I strike it rich.
Does anybody have a non X link for video?
I’m enjoying the game but I only play with friends. After the initial hours spent figuring out how to play together (of which there are still a myriad of issues and hurdles - a true Monster Hunter staple), we’ve been having a lot of fun together.
I’m no Monster Hunter vet or anything like that. I’ve played previous Monster Hunters, but Wilds is the first I’ve played until credits rolled.
I knew what to expect going into it. I knew not to expect seamless coop play. Don’t not expect any captivating story (I skip most of the dialogue, and don’t really know why I’m killing the monsters half of the time). Do expect a convoluted inventory system and interface.
Really, all I’m here for is to slay monsters with friends and occasionally scroll through a bad inventory list, applying a few wrong potions or antidotes before finding the right one.
This is nice! I really like how painterly this is. Did you use the built-in brush libraries or did you customize your own?
I would just say continue what you’re doing. Experiment with different blending options, brushes and textures if you want to branch out. I just installed Krita as well! Also thinking of trying the new GIMP as they just had a major release.
I’m in the last season of Hilda. Very imaginative and whimsical.
I use paper bags if I have any handy. I also save those junk mail grocery ads which are printed on news print. My compost bin is smaller, which forces me to empty it every other day or so.
I spent so many hours on this game. Probably replayed it hundreds of times. The boss battles were so epic. SIGMA! And then discovering the secret shouryuken move from Street Fighter! Wow!
I 2nd this question!
I’ve started Veilguard! Really cool so far. I went with a Qunari (because of the horns) and warrior class.
Elden Ring follows you everywhere.
It sure is. It’s my favorite game of all time. The story, art, gameplay, music which in my opinion are perfect in their own respect, all come together in such perfect harmony as to be greater than the sum of their parts.
Very cool. I’ve never played this series. I wish I had though. I might give the newest one a shot, maybe later this year
Oh I enjoyed that game so much!
I have fond memories of playing Suikoden, but I’m looking for new experiences. To be frank, I’m tired of remakes.
For the most part he refrains from telling you to do XYZ because as he states, we’re all unique, and your healthcare, and diet should be tailored so. He lays out all the strategies and the science behind them and tells you what he does and how he does it. He also tells you what he recommends to his patients. One of his main pillars is that we need to shift from this paradigm of reactionary healthcare and medicine (acting post-diagnosis) to one of active prevention and early (or earlier) screening and detection.
Yes it was, and I like it!
