My bad for the USA, it’s cool that on Lemmy we can come across people who are not just our own country or the USA. On the few networks where I am, this is not the case. I have to pay attention to my generalization bias!

Sorry for that. We try to smuggle words to your side of the ocean. Like ship them through canada to avoid tariff and laws on wording immigration and prison for language contamination. But americanise the spelling because we try to convince ourself that we still love your great continent two (for now) countries continent.

To numerize means turning things into numbers. Maybe we can use “digitalise” but machines don’t have fingers in this side of the world so using “digit” is weird weird.
