“In April 2024, 17 landlords and property management companies filed an antitrust lawsuit against RealPage in federal court in Dallas, Texas. The landlords alleged that RealPage’s YieldStar algorithmic pricing tool allowed property managers to tacitly collude to set rental prices, effectively fixing rents in specific markets and suppressing competition.”
Perhaps they gave you the f-off, we don’t want anyone living in our house anymore number… Either way thats a horrible thing to put someone through.
That is super cool. looks like you’re in a really good spot.
As much as I hate scumlord landlords, to play devils avocado there are certain factors that can cause constant rent rises. namely insurance increases, property taxes, and loan interest rises that may have to be factored in. Continuing to increase rent purly because thats what the market says it should be is a full dick move… But also some blame needs to lie at the feet of the government for carving out tax breaks to encourage rampant speculation on housing prices. Homes should never be investments… there are plenty of other avenues to make money. If the price goes up, it should be a slow gradual increase, not because you can negatively gear etc.

It makes great entertainment to see that old piece of shit up there wandering around like he escaped a local nursing home somehow, but it really is hastening the shrinking of the US’s hegemony. sucks to be a everyday normal American right now, there is no escape, and life is going to start getting orders of magnitude worse real soon. Buckle up folks, prepare for landing.

His gravestone will be super popular, he will have an endless line of people lining up to give him chocolate afterlife logs

lol, that picture is fucking hilarious Mr Magoo wandering around with a shit eating grin while people try and keep gramps out of the picture.

Im not going to mourn the loss of a faceless dipshit who’s sole job it is to deny insurance payouts and gatekeep medical services that should be funded by taxpayers and given at no cost to avoid them going bankrupt.

That small window of time was the perfect opportunity to call and get your claim approved… funny how that works

Hey Execs, do you think maybe if you need to hide behind armed security, that you might just be going down the wrong path by doing evil shit? Also armed guards won’t help you if you make the public mad enough and destroy enough lives to where it doesn’t matter if they live or not to them. Just a thought

I feel like you should upvote it to give it visibility, then speak your mind in the comments. Downvoting should be for trolls posts and such or as reddit says where you don’t think the article should see the light of day

one only has to look at the shitshow in the USA right now to see where this is all headed. Is flock here yet so cops can stalk their exes?

Im sure these data center owners will throw some money at some politicians like cheap prostitutes to create new laws to make everyone else bear the brunt of socializing the expenses so they can keep privatizing the profits.

do you have somewhere to be? if the power goes down long enough, it’s not like you’re going to be in a hurry. but yes 30w is pretty small. you can buy a 450w solar panel for under 200 bucks. add a inverter and 100ah battery and you’re laughing. most shit you can run on dc like lighting and small devices.

You can buy a 100ah battery and 200w solar blanket for fairly cheap. its not a terrible idea to be a little bit prepped. Saw a car on youtube the other day that was 8k, had 10kwh battery, range of 150k and had a retractable roof solar panel that gives the car 55km a day of solar generation. perfect for the apocalype. cruise around the wastelands in style.

You underestimate the amount of digital hoarders out there.

best we can hope for is this potato turns into a pumpkin asap.

because they all know who pays them
