If somebody didn’t realize it was almost certainly going to run poorly the second it was revealed to use UE5, I wouldn’t even know what to say to them.

No, it is boring.
As long as you’re running KDE, it will feel familiar to a Windows user. I started with Kubuntu which was great until I had a system update, and it completely shat itself. Wanted to try Bazzite next, but the installer wouldn’t work properly, so I installed OpenSUSE Tumbleweed, and I’ve seen no reason to switch since.
I use the Decky plugin, and paid for GOG support, but they have their work cut out for them in convincing me to pay for this. Running Heroic isn’t that much of a hassle.
I tried it a month or two ago, and it just didn’t work very well. If other Linux users are looking for a mod manager, I’ve been happy with Limo.
I realize that, but I find it a worthless stat because the numbers are more easily massaged, which is of course partly the point. A different measurement, which paints a less flattering picture, is concurrent players on Steam. I realize that the game will pull players from other places, but comparing it to other games in the same situation doesn’t render favorable results; something which Ubisoft would prefer you didn’t know, as is evident by their asking Valve to obfuscate these statistics in the past.
I’m part of the “I don’t think this game is doing nearly as well as Ubisoft needs it to” “brigade,” but thank you very much for slinging baseless accusations.
If it were doing well, one might think they’d share sales figures instead.
Journalists in general have lost an unbelievable amount of credibility, and games bloggers are the bottom of the barrel.
I’ve had a lifetime pass for years, but have considered making the switch several times. So far I’ve held back because, and correct me if I’m wrong, there are tools to transfer watch state, but not ratings, and while there’s a plugin for dynamic collections, it’s based on tags, so you can’t just have a collection based on something like rating. My library also contains “custom” shows where there’s no match for it online, so I’ve manually assigned it some details.
I got excited for a second until I realized it’s a remaster. Yeah, I don’t really care at that point.
I’m not personally running Bazzite, but before I switched to an AMD card, Nvidia worked just fine for me. Bazzite being more streamlined and gaming-specific, I can only imagine it would do perfectly well running Nvidia.
Basically, these tiers are nothing new, and they’re not especially helpful. My strongest and weakest decks are in adjacent tiers, which tells me the whole thing is pointless at best, and harmful at worst because some people will feel justified in saying which tier their deck is, and obliterating the rest of the pod.
If you’re playing with new people, the solution continues to be having a conversation, and these tiers do very little to affect that conversation.
I’m not blaming UE5, but I’m capable of pattern recognition. There’s a pattern of developers not fixing UE5 issues and releasing games with them still present. The fault lies with both game developers and UE developers.
