Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•What was the best generation of consoles in your opinion?English
1·4 days agoSuper Nintendo, Nintendo 64, PS2, PS3, XBOX 360 and Wii. The Nintendo Switch is a good modern one and so is the Steam Deck.
Edit: I didn’t like Sega because its controls were confusing. ;-;

No Stupid Questions@lemmy.world•Could machines develop consciousness just like we did?English
1·5 days agoThey do have those computers that use brain cells, I believe it’s called ‘wetware’. They’re trying to see if it’ll be a cheaper alternative to AI. I just feel bad for the brains.
It was hard to find again so now I got it saved!

No Stupid Questions@lemmy.world•Could machines develop consciousness just like we did?English
5·5 days agoThat’s true. Every living organism could be conscious on some level if you think about it.

1·5 days agoI heard there is research to build world models, so I believe they are still trying to build AI beyond LLMs.

No Stupid Questions@lemmy.world•Would you rather be reincarnated into a world of magic or reborn as yourself (with your current knowledge fully intact)?English
3·5 days agoI’d rather be reborn as myself with my current knowledge, that way I have more time to learn. I’d do so many things differently.

Artificial Intelligence@lemmy.world•Is AI just going to be the new UI?English
1·5 days agoI could see AI being the new interface people use to search the internet. At the very least, it’s a strong possibility. Not that it’ll make the answers any more accurate.

6·8 days agoIt’s hard because there seems to be no place to hang out and meet people either. Not for a date, just to chill and make friends.

Keep Writing@lemmy.world•What is your favorite genre to write?English
2·8 days agoHaha, I just use the fancy word erotica. But yes I was writing so much my friends thought it was all I wrote. 🤣 Mine are usually historical though, but I did do one dystopian sci-fi one. I posted that one on Wattpad.
Thank you!

Keep Writing@lemmy.world•What is your favorite genre to write?English
3·8 days agoOh, medieval fantasy! I also like writing historical settings. My current novel is set in the 1850s. So, kind of early Victorian era. It’s pretty fascinating to research!
Noooo not Firefox tooo 😶
Hiii! Yes, my friend recommended this place and I had never heard of it before. He said it was better than reddit. 😃
Thanks

Good so far. How’s yours?
