The frustration is real. There’s a movement to create an American Labor Party. I think if it gets enough steam we might see some real change.
61·1 year agoI read and enjoyed it but it was definitely very “hit you over the head” on imperialism/colonialism, and the ending was kind of predictable.
The Poppy War trilogy, however, I am nearly finished with and I have absolutely loved. It is raw, honest, unpredictable, and very well written. Also long af.

2·2 years agoHonestly the quality of the Oracle games, especially when compared to Ocarina of Time, is not even close to comparable. There’s a reason that Ocarina of Time is considered by many to be one of the best games of all time.
Oracle of Ages! I finished TotK a few weeks ago and was feeling really nostalgic, and Nintendo just released the Oracle games on Switch Online, so I figured let’s go!

As a frontend dev working my way to the backend, I would probably say a stack of React/Vue, Typescript, and SASS. These are industry standards (or at least, as standard as you can get with such a fractured ecosystem). And/or: learning the ins and outs of an ecommerce platform for theme development, like Shopify or BigCommerce. In terms of frameworks, I prefer Vue because it’s a little higher level than React and translated well from vanilla JS.
