I interpreted as referring to treatment of prisoners of war.
Edit: I also didn’t interpret it as him saying they were know for their generosity- just that people in general anywhere tend to have some amount of empathy.
Trump said, absurdly comparing the hostages’ situation to the Holocaust, which murdered six million Jews.
This line was speculation, he didn’t say anything about the Holocaust explicitly
suggesting that the Nazis were known for their generosity.

Being able to work is not “instant gratification”. People need it to be able to afford to live, and often in doing jobs that are directly essential for the life or quality of life of others. Incredibly out of touch take imo

I really like the filibuster as a system, but only when its real, as in the senators have to talk the whole time. It makes it so they’re actually demonstrating their passion about a cause.

14·2 months agoThe EU is trying to do this at an EU level (and has been for years). As well as an individual country level, Sweden seems likely to pass a similar law in 2026.
