Also zeppo@lemmy.world. Not a lot of Zeppos out here.
“I love my Hispanics!”
I assume Republicans know that if they made Canada into six states, they would never win national elections again. Not that I think they would be planning on having fair elections or really any elections at all by that point.
Probably one of the stupidest and most insane ideas I’ve ever heard. It’s amazing how easily republicans all accepted this. Also canada being a single state is incredibly ridiculous, everything else aside.
I had tacos on Sunday. It’s okay. Those look good!
Sure, he’s done. He destroyed agencies which regulate him or against which he had a grudge, fucked up regulation and the social safety net, arranged other things to make rich people money, compromised personal data for basically everyone and helped his buddy Putin. Why stick around?
Wow, that’s crazy. I never even once suspected that we shouldn’t spread sewage sludge on agricultural fields.
Yes, I am familiar with grass. It’s nice to have in some places and in limited amounts. However, I’d wager that the majority of grass is not used for anything except aesthetics. There are some other benefits, like keeping insects and wildlife away from structures. While this article is hyperbolic, it makes some good points. Grass is an unproductive monoculture. It’s cut before it even goes to seed, and therefore doesn’t produce food for animals like it would in the wild. People use polluting ICE engines to tend to it (I had a neighbor who mowed his a 1 acre lawn literally every day with a riding mower). An average lawnmower, due to inefficient engines and lack of pollution controls, puts out emissions similar to a full size pickup. People cover lawns in toxic herbicides, pesticides and fertilizers. And then, much of what is cut goes to the landfill, not even compost.
Hmm, I basically agree with this
Reminds me of the Tsunami signs in the PNW
Wow, the pi constant naming inconsistency is terrible.
Sure. It’s another major drawback though. Imagine how irritating it would be to have to find a charger and stop for an hour+ every 2 1/2 hours of highway travel.
Not to mention that the range reduction is extreme. It goes from something like 380 miles to 190 miles.
How much is normally in there? And how?
Oh no! Replying to this person is appeasing them
Oh, I see. Just an idea. I was wondering if maybe they’d block or redirect you.
The prices vary based on how much usable meat there is in the cut vs. bones, and how much work went into cutting it. Wings are mainly bones for instance. It can also be how fast it sells, so the risk the packages will spoil before they’re sold and what quantities they order or produce it in.
You can go to grocery store sites and set your location to a specific store, and look up items.
Anyway I looked it up at my local Walmart (Arizona, US) and boneless breasts are $2.69 a lb, boneless skinless thighs, 3.49, and wings, $1.19 a lb. Ten lbs of chicken leg quarters, $6.50. So it doesn’t seem to have gone up a lot.
Trump did an interview with Goldberg? After the Signal thing? I’m surprised. Maybe he doesn’t remember.
